  • Well done all... shopping for clothes is mad, used to do it when I went into depression and felt lonely. It's been a while since I got my life back on track and I'm pleased to say the only time I bought something was a suit for work. Still wearing the same shirts and jeans from 2008. :T

Though I have a wedding come up will need to buy a suit.

  • That's one more for me please - taking me to 11 for the month so far. Been an odd sort of a day, baked a lovely cake - yay, but then completely forgot to take anything out of the freezer for tea so we've just had chip butties - not so yay.

Feeling decidedly "meh" today, just can't seem to get going at the minute. Hopefully this week will go well and I'll perk up abit. If not can someone please give a swift kick up the proverbial?

Hope everyone is feeling ok, all the best and take it easy...........

How about a :grouphug: instead of a kick up the proverbial? :D We all have 'Meh' days, and chip butties for dinner? If I'd have known I'd have been right over :) Good news is that there's a long weekend ahead (unless you are working in which case I haven't helped at all :o ) x

    Evening!
Had a good drying day here, even if it did look a bit suspect at 9:30 this morning :p Made good time with the marathon too; I managed to make mine last 3mins & 42 seconds before the chocolate melted onto my fingers :rotfl:

I'm going to declare today's nsd in with the others, so I'm on no 11.

  • Thanks Kerri, I know I've been a moany lately but it's lovely to know that you lot are so supportive, and yes a hug would be great, but if that doesn't work then please go to plan b and get kicking!!!!
I think I just need to focus more on the positives so....
    Today I
    - baked a cake
    - did 4 loads of washing and line dried 3 of them (4th is going on line tomorrow)
    - put 3 loads of washing away (I do NOT do ironing!)
    - changed the fireplace from it's winter fireguard to the summer screen
    - tidied away the winter candles (just the pretty ones left out now)
    - emptied bins ready for collection tomorrow
    - checked bank accounts and did some shuffling into savings accounts
    - did an online order for Mr T after checking fridge/freezer and meal planning for next week
    - had a delicious and completely unhealthy treat for tea in the form of chip butties!

That's actually not too bad when I see it written down, maybe I'll try to do a list like this every so often.

Thanks guys (and esp Kerri - you're a star)
    Hazel
