    No 14 today.
Very glad our schools are back today for a whole 4 days, off for 3, back for two.............
DS2 is back at college tomorrow, but only has lessons Tuesday and Thursday morning, same again next week too!!

Reporting a very spendy, yet satisfying day today. Got my hair cut (bit pricey, but a good job) and love it. DS1 felt it was "too modern". Apparently I'm not allowed to be modern (I'm only 50)!! :o

This afternoon we went in search of trainers for DS1. I said I would get them for him...but 4 shops later, no joy!! He has found a make he likes (he's very picky!), but nothing that fitted exactly right!! So he will have a look and try on different styles when he gets back to Uni.
DS2 somehow managed to pick up a pair of sweatpants and shorts for himself...both vastly reduced though :money:.

We then met up with DH and had a fantastic meal out. It was a lovely Italian restaurant with an all-Italian staff. Very good food and a great atmosphere, remarkably busy for a Monday evening!!!

Right off to bed soon as working tomorrow.

Hope to pick up a couple of NSDs in the next two days, though can see me picking up some fresh veg on Thursday for the weekend.

*rushes in* just a really really quick stop - no NSD for me today but it's a well worthwhile spend as I have just been buying some baby gifts as I became proud (very proud) Aunty to a baby girl at 10.30pm last night! :j:j:j

YAY!!! Congratulations Kerri, what lovely news:j:j:j. Hope mum and baby are both well and your brother is losing the "rabbit" look:D. She is going to be one very spoilt little girl if Auntie Kerri has her way;)
Evening all, hope everyone is well today. A big thank you for all the positive messages and hugs you lot have sent me. Feeling better today and got quite alot done. I think it's the constant back of the mind nagging worry over cashflow that sometimes leaps out and grabs hold of me. I know it's not forever it's just that sometimes I feel like like a hamster on a wheel. That said if I focus on the positives I'll do just fine.

    Hi TH,
Sorry I wasn't around during the weekend to send you a hug but I'm really pleased you're feeling more positive today. Wish I'd seen the chip butties yesterday, I would have been round like a shot!:D

Any time you need a rant or a moan, go ahead, we've all been there (and some of us still are).

Here's another hug for you, hope it helps.
    Take care

Cheryl, love the shopping, that's very unlike you:D. I really like the dress and the shoes, as someone else said, your chap needs to take you somewhere nice now to wear them:D

BDINI, hope you had a good evening with your old boys:D. Thanks for the words of support, I'm fine, things are just a bit busy at the moment, but I'm gaining lots of NSDs so quite chuffed with that:D

And an update on my NSDs now, I had a no spend weekend and have been a very good spoony today, so currently at no 14, doing well this month:j:j:j

Big ((((((hug)))))) to anyone needing one.

    'night everyone
    spoon xx

PS: Keiss, of course you're allowed to be "modern", what do boys know about haircuts anyway:D.

    Morning

Congrats Kerri on becoming an Auntie. You get to have the baby cuddles and when they cry you get to give them back! :rotfl:

Not much to report here, didn't manage a NSD as went for a tea and a chat with my partner in crime at work. She's found a new job so she will be leaving. tears-003.gif I am happy for her as she was disliking the job as much as I was. Have submitted my CV for one job, just need to find some more to apply for . . .

    Enjoy the sun everyone!
    xx
