I have had deliveries from T*sco on a fairly regualr basis for years on and off, and have never really had any problems with them.On the odd occasion that I have been unhappy with an item, I have phoned them and they have refunded the cost without question.
I also like the fact that I feel more in control of what I'm spending. I go through all the special offers first, and then top up with other things from my list. I usually end up taking some items out of my 'basket' at the end because I've spent too much, but I would prefer this to having a shock when I got to the till!!

Evening guys. Well thanks for all the feedback about internet shopping. The kind of problems you've had are the kind of thing I'm concerned about - esp with the fresh stuff as I am one for rummaging around on the shelves, checking the front and the back to see what the best use by date is. Hmmm...need to have a think me thinks.

So, good news or bad news first...

we'll go good..... I have clocked up NSD #7 :jso thats me 1/2 way there.

bad news...when my mobile bill came through this month, including some calls from when I was away on business, there was a bunch of calls to my voicemail and from a mobile number I don't know all £1.50 per call, within the space of a few mins, totalling £48  well, just looking at the voicemail, all the calls are within the space of a few mins, and last a matter of seconds each- well who calls their voicemail approx 17 times in the space of less than 10 mins without even having time to listen to a call?? Following at least 3 calls to t-mobile and the query being passed to 'billing enq' (who you apparently can't talk direct to) I got a text ..yes a TEXT not even and email or a call  to say the calls are valid and now they've taken the full dd :mad::mad: OMG I am hopping mad - there is no way these calls aer valid, I was in an airport at the time and WHY would I call my voicemail 17 times at £1.50 a min OR call someone who I don't even know who it is??? Soooo, I shall be on the phone to them tomorrow morning to advise if they don't reverse this obscene charge...I'll be looking to take my business elsewhere whether I am in contract or not..... grrrrrrrrr I AM SOOOO MAD!!!!

Oh Kerri, I'm not surprised you're  I am also with T-mob, and have been since they started. Why, I dont know, because their CS are total carp! I got an email to say I was due for an upgrade so I had a look at the phones but I wasnt happy with my current deal I called them to say I'd like a new phone but could I change my package as I dont use anywhere near the limits on my current one. They said as my contract doesnt end till 6 June they couldnt change my package, but I could have the phone but I would need to sign up to and renew my current package right away, obviously looking to tie me in for another 18mths at a higher rate than I need. Then they had the cheek to send me a text with a survey to "rate my experience" Needless to say I responded right away - by pressing delete:mad: Just waiting till June and I'll be changing suppliers methinks!

Re online grocery shopping. I used to use it quite regularly, esp when I worked fulltime. I agree with others re BBF dates and being let down. A few years ago I placed my big Christmas order with Te$co.The order included all the drinks and ingredients needed for Christmas dinner and yes, you guessed, it didnt turn up. I then had to get out to the shops on Christmas Eve - the one thing I was trying to avoid.
I think things have improved since then but I havent used Tesco since. A5Da in my experience have been ok. I use them very occasionally when time is short, but generally I go "in person" .
I certainly wouldnt trust any of them not to let me down if I was shopping for an"event" like Christmas or a special occasion IYSWIM.

    Good morning all!

Planning a NSD today. After a very busy week, I'm looking forward to day of pottering around. OH is working today so a bit of OT coming our way;)
Was at the vet yesterday with puss. The results of the numerous tests showed that he has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease which explains all the irregular weeing. He has a very inflammed bladder (ouch) so he got a slow release steroid injection which covers the next four weeks. He seems a lot calmer this morning and no little "surprises" for me either! I'm relieved we've finally, after lots of investigation, got to the root of the problem. The vet said that he will always have this problem but hopefully it can be managed. Thank goodness for pet insurance!:T
I am just going to do a bit of housework and then recline on the couch with Inspector Rebus;)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Morning everyone

A nice round number 8 for me this morning. I'm picking up my bike today from mum and dads. Hoping it is rideable. I haven't cycled for ages though, and it's an 8 mile trip back to home (the bike won't fit in our car), so 5 hours later I will probably arrive home. Have decided I'm going armed with my camera on these rides, so I can take some nice early morning photos on my journey.

Have a good weekend everyone. :)
