Liquid gold bought yesterday, but I'd put the money away for that so can claim nsd #8 slowly but surely getting there.

    Morning all
Just a pop in to say that I am declaring today as my 8 NSD
so pleased with myself and feel that I am now getting some control on this spending. Have to say though quite substantial amounts went out this week for school trips and a couple of big ticket items but these were all budgeted for so thats them sorted. Roll on getting a week that there is a minimum spend.

    Take care all.

I was hoping for a NSD yesterday.... but I had to take dog to the vets so that went out of the window!!

Best part of £24  for MORE anti biotics for his gammy leg, hopefully it'll start to clear up soon though. I really need some juice today, so don't think I'll manage one today either, but tomorrow is looking promising :rotfl:

Still stuck on 7 - didn't spend any cash (or use my card yesterday), but the D/debit for my Council Tax went out.... I'd completely forgotten that was due :(

Planning on today being a spend day as well - been through my wardrobes this last week, and I don't actually have a lot of choice of clothes (other than work trousers and running clothes) that fit !! So I'm going to go and have a bit of a splurge at a retail park after I've walked the dog. And for once I can actually afford to do it, as I had a small unexpected windfall last week when I cashed in a preserved pension as they wound up the scheme - the choices being to do that or transfer the funds into a Personal Pension scheme, which I didn't fancy doing.

I still have two preserved company pensions - with AVCs alongside one of them - so it wasn't as if keeping the money in a pension pot was critical for the future, and I moved the bulk of the money into my cash ISA (using my entire allowance on the last day of the tax year) so it's not as if I plan to spend all of it ;)

In fact, I suspect I'm going to find it hard to part with cash as I find it difficult to find anything I actually like and feel comfortable in unknown.gif The retail park has a Mr T (though they don't seem to do the size I need these days), a Mr A (very little in my size, but will have a look and see what they do have), a N3xt (don't like their prices, but bought some stuff in their sale earlier in the year which I do like), and an M'n'S (don't like their prices, but do like their underwear). Not sure what else is up there these days, but don't think there's any other general clothing store..... just the shop I got most of my running gear from, and I could do with a couple of bits from there while I'm nearby. There's also an Arg0s, so will also try and get the rotary airer I need for the garden while I'm using petrol and spending anyway (my old one having given up the ghost after my GDs decided to try climbing it last year!!!)

Morning all (welll just morning) just popping in to say hello briefly...off to get my hair done shortly so will be a spendy day for me.

Bit of a late start this morning so I am jet to give T-Mobile a piece of my mind

Jints - good news that the vet has found what poor puss' problem is, no wonder he's been piddling in inappropiate places - poor wee soul. As you say, thank goodness for pet insurance and good news that although he'll always have this, is can be managed. Oh...and I'll let you know how I get on with T-M - to be fair they've usually been pretty good since I've been with them...oh, except for carp reception in our prev flat, and giving me a new handset saying it would work in Japan and then it didn't....err actually perhaps we'd better get Mary P on the case. I might suggest that if they don't refund my money, I shall be off to Citizens Advise and not only will the end up having to refund the £48, but they will also be paying all associated court costs when I take them there....;)

Enyjoy the clothes shopping Cheryl - I did wonder where you were going with the comment that they also had a Arg0s at the retail park :rotfl:

    Hi BDINI

Declaring NSD 10 early today. Determined to get to target this month. So have made the decision to have a weekend at home with no trips to the shops. I know there is enough time to make target - but i want to break the Saturday shopping habit if possible. I will be making do this weekend and shopping out of my storecupboard.

I am trying to make bread as we speak - had ran out and then found a bread mix in the cupboard - so will be using this up first.

Will be back tomorrow with NSD 11

    Best Wishes

    Trin
