Spending today...knew it would be, and got fresh food to last us until early next week, so was hoping for three NSDs in a row starting tomorrow. Unfortunately DH has found that B@Q have a grill to fit our BBQ (ours has collapsed!)...it is less than half the price of others we have found, so a good deal. He wants to get it tomorrow, taking a detour on his way home....so a spend, as well as some spices he needs to get at the Asian shops (he forgot to go today). Hey-ho, at least I should pick up two NSDs over the weekend. :D

It's funny how you resent spending on a day you plan on nabbing an NSD!! :)

Yay, an unexpected NSD for me ... #8 :)

Had a day out with work and everything was paid for. I resisted all the shops at the train station on the way there and back because I was running late this morning and then was too tired tonight!

    Good morning everyone!

Early start for me today - wont be an NSD again today as I'm off to A5da. Dont need much and I am aiming to be under budget as this is the last week of the grocery challenge for me this month. I have a list and I will be strictly adhering to it;)
I am also taking puss to the vet to discuss the results of all the tests he has had done, so hopefully I'll get some answers today.
I also paln to pop into the library and collect my books which I ordered before my book buying yesterday. Thankfully OH is working tomorrow so I am planning a quiet day reading!

    Laters..............

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

Nothing megga exciting really - just a carrot cake from the chilled/cream cakes section. should be £2.59, and I got it for 85p :D
In theory it could go lower in price a bit later in the evening, but in practise I've never seen one stay on the shelf long enough to be reduced again....

I also picked up 2 packs of D0ra the Expl0rer fromage frais (12 pots to a pack) for 29p each instead of £1.59 ;)

More great bargains & the carrot cake sounds yummy!!

    Morning all,

Jintyb - hope the vet has good news.

Only got a couple more NSDs to report so far, been hectic at work, and although I have had lunch waiting for me in the fridge at home, on two days there has been no way to get home to eat it so I have bought lunch twice. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have som many meetings to go to, when I get hungry my stomach growls VERY loudly so cannot just ignore it. Still, I very much enjoyed my cheesy jacket potatoes and am considering them as my treat for the week.

Going to be spendy again today, bringing the food shop forward a day as not in work, and have run out of milk this morning, so am going to do it all in one go as I seem to spend less that way.

So only 6/18 NSDs so far, I'm not at all sure I'm going to make it this month, although there are still enough days in theory.
Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage :o) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.

Morning everyone. My tally is now 6 NSD's. Not doing so well this month. I won't have much access to a computer after today til early May (at least for looking at forums etc), so will have to keep notes on paper.

I agree Shezam its so addictive. This morning I did my usual walk to work with two bigish heavyish bags instead of getting the £2.10 bus ticket to work, so I could bag a NSD! :rotfl: Fingers crossed I can resist for the rest of the day . . .

Fingers crossed for your cat Jinty, I hope its nothing too serious. Let us know what the verdict is.

    xx
