It's been a while since I last posted, been a busy time back at work.

I'm declaring the month at 14 NSD's I think my week off threw me this month, spending was all over the place. One day under target, but I will try harder next month!! :)

    Spend day for me today...

Went back down to work to try and find some inspiration for tea, but didn't find anything I fancied. However, I did come home with some bits and pieces to make up a pack-up for tomorrow (could have cobbled something from store cupboards, but what I bought is more appealing - and much more likely to 'hit the spot' after a long run! and it's got to be a heap cheaper than using the on-site cafe too, so I've now removed that temptation ;)), and some 'sugar hits' for afterwards as well (OK, so I bought some cakes LOL). Also got myself a fairly large (and thick) minted lamb chop for tea tomorrow. With the exception of a couple of packs of instant whip type powder everything was Whoopsied (the lamb chop costing me just 49p, instead of the £2.67 I'd never have paid for it in a month of Sundays) ;)

Tomorrow will also be a spend day.....

Definitely looks like I'll get hammered for car parking charges - just hope it's not too much, else I'll be trying to find somewhere on the street rather than in the park, but I'd much rather have my car (and running kit and refreshment supplies) handy to the course of the run - plus need to pay for taking part in the run.

So no more NSDs for me this month, but I'm happy as I managed to exceed my target :T

  • Ok so the dresses and hats all looked amazing ... however i dont ever want to count up the cost of those items or that dress let alone the security costs.... and forgive my soap box moment this im sure has probably been speeded up by the countries need to help boost the economy by encouraging tourism and ppl buying over priced tat with a pic of wills and kate. lets just hope this royal wedding actually lasts long enough to prove its actually worth more than the economy boost.

Ok [STRIKE]soap box moment[/STRIKE]rant over on an even better note.... ive managed to find stuff in the cupboards like half finished crafts which have keep me amused and out of the shops for the last 2 days so im up to 16 NSD

    Good morning everyone:hello:

I hope everyone enjoyed the wedding yesterday (unfortunately I had to work so I will watch the whole thing later but I have seen the happy couple on the balcony so thats OK):kisses3:

April was an all over the place type of month with having easter in it (I had a few birthdays and we went up North over easter (which was sooooo expensive, money just seemed to run away) so I think I did OK by having 17 NSDs this month (only 1 over my target but OK)

It looks like it is going to be a lovely day here. I hope everyone has sunshine today cos it just makes life seem that little bit easier.

    Anyway enough of my waffle
    Have a nice day everyone

    Good morning everyone -
I've got a bit of a split personality going on here as I'm posting here and on the May thread too!
Still reeling from the news that I have to get four teeth out - see May thread for further info!
I am determined to make today a NSD as I need one to make my final target of 20. I have NO plans to spend today, OH is working today and tomorrow, so I will catch up with ironing etc. I'm going to the library later, so I'll have a bit of a mooch around there!

Kerri - sounds like a lovely shop you had yesterday and for 80 squids you got lots of lovely stuff! Well done!
Nargle - good luck for the car boot - it's years since I did one of those. I used to do them regularly with my sis and we always had a good day out and a bit of a laugh!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning!

Ok so yesterday was a spend day £6.26, but spotted lovely sushi rolls reduced to 39p, so how could I resist?

NSD planned for today, last one of the month, and very much looking forward to getting the first one of May tomorrow (I know I should get out more).

So 12 NSDs beating my target by 2. Not bad.

    :)

Not sure...Is it bad if I go to Lush and get the stuff I use considering I won't be living near one anymore?
