    2 apps which may be useful are "Chrome2Phone" and "Phone2Chrome"
    Basically they let you send a link from either the chrome browser to your phone or the other way around...

    *Note*
    Phone2Chrome uses dropbox so you'll need a dropbox account for it to work...

    I am using the Swiftkey X beta (free from the market) have to say this keyboard is excellent. Much better than the original swiftkey. It has 2 modes rapid entry and accurate. If you select rapid you can mash away at the screen and as long as your roughly in the right place it fixes it with amazing results.

    It also learns your lingo from reading your facebook and gmail (if you want it to).

    Still a bit buggy tho and sometimes goes a bit haywire. But i'm sure they will have it fixed in the final release.

    Navfree is a free to use satnav which requires no data connection as its stores the whole UK IRE map. If is not found on the android marketplace.

    You can also download the postcodes so it makes it easier and quicker to select your destination.

    I also use this.

    I'm a bit paranoid about the data use. I know it says it doesn't use any, but I went on a 5 mile ride and could see the mobile data usage thing flickering away. When I got home it had chewed through 30 meg. It may not have been navfree, but I turn the mobile data off now just in case.

    I don't have a tab yet, but I am beginning to think it is going to be safer to get a wifi tab and get a mifi to go with it, this should eliminate all these apps that seem to use the data without telling you. Is it true that a lot of the free apps randomly dial out and cost a fortune in phone bills/data usage?

    Apps tend to synchronise so they're always up-to date when you look at them (e.g. News & Weather, Facebook, Twitter). For the majority of apps, you can specify how often you want them to sync.

    Also if you are connected to WiFi, it will use that before using the 3G data.
