Can anyone name the barcode scanner they have? I looked at a couple, but they all said they were for use in the US.

Realised I actually use https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.zxing.client.android as a scanner and the one above to create QR codes when I was playing with them.0 -
HEYTELL - Awesome voice messaging (Push to Talk) Also available on iphone so most my messages are voice these days.
DOLPHIN HD browser - is great for tabbed browsing and also using gestures to get to book marks back page etc.
PULSE - excellent news feed reader. just plug in your rss url and get tiles of new news. Try it you'll love it.
CARDIO TRAINER - awesome for gps running cycling etc. Lots of paid addons to choose from but I don't bother as the standard free app is top banana anyway.0 -
PHOTOWALL - another app i just started using. It's an active wallpaper that puts a collage of photos as a wallpaper. It gets the photo's from your phone or if you link it to facebook you and your friends latest photos! It updates them periodically too. It doesn't seem battery hungry either.0

I'm also a SwiftKey user0 -
Still beta and not in the market. You need to go through a couple of hoops starting from the link above. It's easy enough to get it going and it does seem good once you've entered the full word using the usual hunt and peck - it manages my email address OK but you need a fair bit of swiping around to enter it all and Swiftkey gets it quickly enough anyway.
I got Swiftkey when it was 99p offer because I was quite impressed with it - one of the few apps I've paid for. I think they've jacked the price up now.
I'll see how I get on with swype for a while.0 -

I got the cheapo swiftkey too after testing that for a while. It's interesting to watch as it learns your common texts - and slightly embarrassing how many times it has come back guessing that the next word is 'pub' or 'drink'0 -
