It all hinges on whether Av1va are as generous with their mortgage endowment promise as they are hinting at in their letters. Fingers crossed.
Plans for after the mortgage:
1. Remodel bathrooms
2. Amazing family holiday (Hawaii?)
3. Start building up pension fund

Two OPs - £5.69 & £1.64 bringing my OP challenge down to £1265.53. I can only OP small amounts at the moment as I haven't been paid for a while. By the end of the month, the amounts should be larger.
The plumbers have been back and improved the floorboards and carpets. It's still not ideal, but better.
It's been a spendy week. DD needed new school shoes and a new school bag. And today we are off on our trip to Yorkshire, hopefully to see some puffins. Hotels were booked and paid for a while ago together with some meals. I am making a packed lunch for today, so I am trying to keep the costs down.If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -

Yesterday we went to Bempton Cliffs. What an amazing place. So many birds to see. Sadly though, we didn't get to see many puffins, only five out of the thousands of birds there. I'm glad we went, it was a lovely morning and DD took lots of photos.
