Just wanted try and make this point a bit clearer if I can about being charged the cancellation fee when changing tariff, within E.ON.

In the T&C's it says we may apply the charge, in my experience we do not apply this when you are just changing from one tariff to another.

But, I do know of a case where this was applied, this was due to the number of times the tariff had been changed by the customer (there might be other reasons that I have not come across).

So this is why the T&C's say may, it means E.ON can apply this at their discretion.
