Eon Fixonline 6

you can change tariff twice in a 90 day (upto 8 times in 12 months) billing cycle thru Eon self serve site, so go on save online 5, and if 6 better swap on to that when available, which will be in the next 7 days, just because the version number is higher does not guarantee Save Online 6 will be better than v5, all you can do is wait til available.
Would you still be charged the £30 cancellation fee?

Hi Tomlewis007,
Malc is off at the mo, hope you don't mind if I reply.
Just had some info through on the SaveOnline 6, looks like it's the same as 5 but the end date is 1 June 2012.

Hiya,
The unit costs are the same, just the end date is different.
It has only come out today so may be a little longer before you can see online, but if you have an online account you should be able to log in and view it when you click on 'switch now'

Hi, have just switched to Save on line 6. Terms and conditions are not yet available. Are the tariffs variable on this plan for the duration ?0

Hi bazzer3cl,
This tariff is not fixed or capped so the unit prices can increase or decrease depending on if E.ON have a price change.
This will apply to the whole term of the tariff.

Quick question for E.on Company Representative.......
If I change over from Fixonline 6 to Saveonline 6 today, can you confirm that I will not be charged a £30 early termination fee?
I ask this because presumably the Fixonline 6 tariff does not end until Midnight tonight. So, do I need to wait until tomorrow before switching tariffs?
Thanks, Toby0 -

I have the same question as Toby. I phoned the EON helpline this morning who told me it was ok to proceed and that I was 'applying' to change to Saveonline6 and this wouldn't be actioned until midnight. I did this only to find the change to Saveonline6 appears to be immediate(?) There was no mention of a £30 termination fee, but now I'm wondering if I've been led down the garden path.0
