Best way to send parcel to USA ?

Hi, I have been with eBay for over ten years and have sent 100s of items to the USA without any problem at all.
All you need to do is visit your local PO and ask for a few dozen customs labels. Next using your PC (for pre-printed labels) or a felt tip pen write 'Small Packet' on the jiffy bag. Sending stuff to the USA by Small Packet can be cheaper than sending the same thing to a UK address.

The only problem you may have is if it gets lost or damaged and you have not sent it by Airmail Signed for. However losing mail to the USA is very rare and on low priced items it worth taking the risk. Make sure you pack it well as it has a long way to go.

This thread is from 2006 and I imagine the OP has probably sent the parcel by now. There is a new thread about couriers and such like so I will close this thread and suggest everyone adds to the newer thread if they have recommendations or comments.
