any word/written document is coming out like this. i have very important attachments to download and i cant its been prolonged for very long.:mad:

Looking in your list of installed programs in post #8 you don't appear to have any office/word processor software installed?

Do you have Microsoft Office?

Options are:

Open them with Wordpad - limited.

Buy Microsoft Office - if you don't have it.

Install LibreOffice - free.

Use Office Live online - if you have a Windows Live ID or Hotmail account. If not sign up for it.

Have you tried right-clicking on the attachments, selecting 'open with..' and then choosing 'Word?'

Have you tried opening them by uploading them the Windows Live Office online? If that won't open them it means they are either not standard office file types or the files are corrupt.
