How was the Earls Court wedding show ladies?

I am going to the Birmingham show this weekend and cannot wait :)

Also I had a very exciting text today to say my dad has managed to book a Bentley for the wedding day (best part is it was VERY VERY MSE friendly!)

I bought my first decoration last week too, nothing wrong with being advanced :) Although compared to some of us on here, I feel quite behind! xx
  • August 2013 here! :D

Very excited as our venue is now booked. Looking at transport now. Feel it's a bit early to look at dresses but me and my mum had a great time going around a few shops getting ideas.

I have one more year of uni yet until the proper planning gets underway, but I just want to focus on the wedding! Boo! :(

Yeah, just we're in a LDR and can't plan anything till we move in together because it would be pointless really. But it's looking like we're going to be waiting even longer before either of us is in a position to move :(

    So far we (I) have:
booked the ceremony, reception and cars
ordered my dress (ebay seller in China so I wanted it in plenty of time in case i needed to buy a new one, plus my Aunt is a seamstress so any alterations she is going to do)
my wedding ring (saw one I liked in Pandora when I picked my new engagement ring so bought it there and then)
    stuff to make the invites
my shoes (Ebay bargain, plenty of time to wear them in)
Tiara's for myself, my matron of honour and my bridesmaids (they were on sale and a bargain)
Matron of honours dress (bought 2 brand new Debenhams dresses off ebay for 20% of the retail price, both the same style in size 10 and 12, She never gains/loses weight {touch wood} she's a size 10/12 depending on the fit)
Guest book (bought from local card shop for £2.99 and added a couple of roses to match the colour scheme)
After christmas I'll be paying the balance of the cars and ordering/paying for the flowers (we're getting them from the same place) and booking a photographer.
