This forum has some interesting debates on savings/ investments it would be a pity if it was swamped by people telling the world their "to do" lists
  • darkpool, 'to-do' lists are a vital tool where money saving is concerned. And people must remember, what works for one person, may not work for another.

yeah, i have "to do" lists as well. however i don't put them on a forum when the "to do" list really has nothing to do with the forum.

or do you think a "to do" list about finishing scarfs and buying presents is relevant to this forum?

the thread below is about people saving up for a deposit, it has over 3000 posts. i just don't understand why the OP here needs her own thread. i also don't understand why people cant be negative on this thread. a good forum thrives on debate, if this forum turns into a "well done for saving that 2 pound coin" type forum it will turn boring very quickly.

Jonnie........ Don't bother responding to him....... He has his high horse and he's not getting off it.

Why he bothers to continue to read these threads is beyond me.

If you're not using the car then I would get rid. The only problem I find with the London public transport system is at the weekend they close part of the tube network. Annoying as a visitor, but sure it works better in the week.

    Hello everyone!

Thanks MoneySaverLog for your post, i have been thinking long and hard and have decided to get rid of the car :( . It really makes no sense to have it anymore if i cannot use it for work.
I only wish the lovely Congestion charge did not exist and the parking charges (both together per day, over £30:eek: ), So i have to rely on the perfect London transport instead:rotfl:

I am currently trying to work out my new saving targets and outgoings. Will have to note them all down and finalise them next month when i get my new pay in full :D

    bye for now...
