£2 here, gutted! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

It was £1.50 for the first one, £1 for any further front teeth and £2 for molars and the two that the dentist pulled. They were super wobbly, but would not come out and stopped her from eating. Molars are always a drama and cause more discomfort so I think they are worth more!0

£1 a tooth!Jan 2012: CC £2,340.30, 2nd mortgage £22,932, Mortgage £57,5380

our tooth fairy leaves a shiny £1 per tooth that comes out on it's own ( with help from the owner of course!) and £2 per healthy tooth that the dentist has to pull (overcrowding) although as the extraction process seems to be stress and painfree now this seems superfluous!!:rotfl:0

£1 if it falls out, £2 if it is knocked out, £3 if it's pulled!!!!
My neighbour got a note from the tooth fairy, her daughters tooth fell out but the tooth fairy didn't have change, so she left money the next night with a message from the tooth fairy that this was the day her tooth was meant to fall out!!!:T0 -
If I take them out in the surgery, I always tell the kid that the fairy always leaves a bit more if I do it!
Then I look across the room to the parent's face!
There are some kids that hang onto wobbly ones just to let me be the one to get them out!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
MY son is 9yrs old. His first tooth netted him £2 and subsequent teeth £1. I'd like to know the going rate for a full set of slightly worn adult teeth, I may need to sell if petrol prices keep rising!!0

After googling it few months ago we too settled on £2 for first then £1 for each tooth after. DD was so please that the tooth fairy had visited that she wrote a letter a few days later to ask if she and her friend could visit fairyland. I made the mistake of replying (in curly handwriting with glitter, saying they were busy at the moment), and now have to check under pillow on regular intervals as DD now has a fairy penpal!!WINS 2009 so far £212
WINS 2008 £823
WINS 2007 £14110 -
DD1 also writes regularly to the tooth fairy (started with a thank you letter for the £2 coin left for her first tooth) - I have a pile of letters, drawings, maps and stickers that have been left for her. However, she did write to invite her to her birthday party and was gutted not to see the fairy at the party.... So far the fairy has not replied in writing - just with the removal of the notes. DD seems happy with this, than goodness and does not seem to expect any further correspondance.0

We obviously have the same tooth fairy visiting our house!:D0
