Great 'what does the tooth fairy pay?' Hunt

This week, we want to find out from MoneySavers if baby teeth are worth as much as they used to, or if the tooth fairy's tightened her purse strings.

The last 3 teeth have been worth $5, £1 & £2. It just depends which tooth fairy comes!!
  • Dds's first tooth was worth £2 from us - but her grandad gave her £5 as well!

Since then, it's been £1 each - but it ended when she was 9!

All mine have had £2 for the first tooth and £1 each for subsequent teeth. One of my boys last teeth to fall out was a front one when he was 14. DD is 9, still another 8 to go.

My DD is nearly 10, has loads more baby teeth to come out, and the tooth fairy gives £1 a tooth.

I got 50p a tooth, and got £10 when the Tooth Fairy rang the dentist and told him that "I'd been such a good girl brushing my teeth every day, he needed to take some out so she could give me some more pennies", although, I do think there might be something not quite right with that story....

Like many other posters, our tooth fairy pays £2 for the first tooth and then £1 each after that. DS2 has had £3 in 4 days having lost 3 top front teeth in a row!!

When one of my teeth came out, i left it under the pillow and the fairy hadn't been, the tooth was still there.
Then to make matters worse i went the dentist and ............ He charged me.

Usually £2 & a special new girly pink toothbrush. For her 1st one she also got a little miss book & a teeny wee card hand made by the tooth fairy (aka as magic mum;))
