Evening all
Only basics done here today as I was in school all day for inset day.
Moogie have a hug that is a tough situation. It is really common for a parent to become very dependant when a spouse dies and sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind in the long run IMHO to help them start to find a new path to follow.
Serena when are the stitches due out?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Ooooh. Bottle of champers chilling to celebrate my new clients. Haven't changed dinner plans though - leftovers and freezer food. But it will be nice.
DW emptied - need to reload, Need to empty WM. Baking this weekend. DH offered my pecan tart as an apology to someone for not looking at an e-mail. Thanks!
Did some filing this afternoon. At least I can see parts of living room table now.
DH diving tomorrow. So hopefully I'll have a good energy day tomorrow and can crack on with finding my study.

Evening all
I've enjoyed catching up with today's posts and now it's time to make a move. Plenty of jobs waiting and I'll try to get ahead a bit for a change, provided I can stay awake. WM and DW to start with, I think, and then I'll change all the beds (after a quick cuppa). I've had snacks, the DSs have had soup and cereal respectively, and DH can have bacon sarnies, I think.
I've bought MIL's card for Sunday, but need to come up with a present. Something for the garden, I think. I'll think of you, too, kazw and boddy. DS1 was 4 1/2 when mum passed away and he'll be 17 in just over a month's time. She'd have loved DS2 to bits but would have worried herself sick over him, too. For years I hated shopping for Mother's Day and Christmas cards, as I always found lots of things I would have loved to give her. I have lots of lovely memories, though, too.0 -
had a mini spurt of energy before nursery pick up time so cleared and cleaned kitchen diner sitting room and bathroom, loaded DW and hung out and got a load of washing on. chippy tea was lovely  off to put squids to bed and need to check emails as I was planning on selling loads off kids stuff, clothes, toys etc at a nearly new sale and only just realised its tomorrow:eek: so I'm hoping I've got time to label it all up and do the admin tonight (it normally takes me at least a week of bits and bobs here and there)0

vanilla - how on earth can you have the time an energy for a small business? you never cease to amaze me :T:T (BTW, if you're bored, my house needs decorating, and with your record it'll take you about 3 days
)
vanilla I did that about 3 yrs ago. Best thing I ever did. 60hr weeks down to 'whatever I feel like doing' :TBut i'll just keep working towards it as there's loads to learn and money to gather up. Plus things could change anytime.
So i'm feeling dissappointed but we'll just get on with it. Chin up and all that.
Dw back on and kids still fighting. Rhys will be heading to bed and i'm gonna gut the bathroom.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

1st glass of wine of the night consumed. I'm not usually much of a drinker so I'll be on my way if I have another. Maybe when the girls are in bed.
Tea consumed - pizza was yummy. I'm liking my new pizza tray from lakeland. DH is working late tonight so I think I'll bath the girls, get them in bed and carry on with my knitting. I've done the two front pieces, the back and 1 and a half sleeves of DD1's cardy. I'd like to get the second sleeve finished tonight.
Flyingwise - I've tidied the kitchen, DW on and I'll do a swoop of all the washing upstairs while I run the bath and S&S the bathroom too so it's sparkling for the weekend.
This weekend I need to wash, iron, wash, iron, wash, iron....I'm sure you're getting the picture!!! Also DD2's room needs a big tidy at some point too.
See you later x0 -
Evening
Back from Norfolk, flowers on grave, I was about to 'do one' at my brother as head stone is still not there, anyhow before I started, it seems the stonemason has gone walkabout, leaving several families in the same situation, also in his office where donations that were made at funerals, which had not been sent on, but at least he had not done a runner with them!! My brother has been told to go else where, which after 6 months I think is a good idea, I am so glad me and my big mouth did NOT open, and put foot in it!
Thanks for all your thoughts.
LW~ I have told them to stuff it, but not in words, I just demoted myslef and cancelled my account!

Having problems with MIL at the moment, FIL died in Jan and she is starting to become too dependent on us, we visit her everyday and do lots of jobs for her. She constantly nags me and puts OH and our kids down. She has now announced she is coming round ours tomorrow and will stay the night! Told her no, I have a house full of children and work to do, but she has said I won't be any problem and is still coming round! It is really getting me down, but I do feel sorry for her and try to put up with her for the sake of my OH.
Thanks for letting me moan, it has made me feel better just typing it out! At least she won't be able to nag about my house cause it's tidy for once!
Total CBA here today - not just the things I should have done - didn't even do anything for pleasure. Not sure if it is the clock-change, although that does seem to be affecting a lot of people, or the grey cloudy weather.
Really do need to find some GUAG soon.0
