Not at all - happy for you to stick around. Here's a Christmas tree so you'll get the welcome pm.

OK - beds are changed, DW and WM about to go on. I was just about to start with jobs earlier when DH came home. I made his tea, fed the DSs (again) and found desserts. Then I gave DH a lift, DS1 went out and it was DS2's bedtime. Not quite what I'd planned, but I read a bit and fell asleep for a while, too. At least I've done something. Must go and check what the cat is doing. I think it's time for her to go outside.0 -
Thanks Mrs Chaos
I'll admit to be a neat freak.....I'm reasonably organised but even I have my bad weeks. I've been lurking for a while and always love hearing how well you're all doing. Hopefully your lists will help me stay on the straight and narrow and do the bits I try to ignore.

Hi all popping in on a weekend to say hi,
flying hasnt happened much in the last month seem to start the week well but finishing it doesnt seem to be happening.
Will be spending the weekend clearing out FIL house we have until the 17th but away for a week from the 9th so this weekend we will be filling a skip and sorting things out, OH isnt attached to many things have kept photos etc but not much else and his father was definetly a hoarder of things that really should have been binned but he kept as just in case i need!!!
Off next week on school hols so aiming to fly every day the house badly needs some work, so hope all well have had the odd lurk to see what is happening but missing the up todate news.0 -

Is it safe to come back in, now?
Done the grand sum of WM, cleaned loos, DW and shoved a load of binbags full of recyclable stuff (shhhh!) in the wheelie bin. The bin men took them too - just as well as I had confused the bag which contained the recycling with the one the used cat litter was supposed to be put in [shudder]
Done physio. Ugh. Got blood test (theoretically to confirm compensatory hypothyroidism, apparently so I can be started on medication - does this mean I might actually lose some weight?). Then went into chemist in area of town high proportion of the population from the Indian subcontinent and got my nose pierced.
Then saw DD off to KH's - he took the opportunity to inform me that I was stupid and wasting my time to put plants in troughs in the front garden, as everyone will walk along and snap them off. They're been there for weeks. And I specifically bought stuff that can cope with being picked by small children. K-nob.
Then found out there was a Guns 'n' Roses tribute band round the corner tonight, so went to that by myself. I do like silicone earplugs! Came back, stuffed a shish and decided to log on and see what's on tomorrow.
Seafarers You look absolutely beautiful in your photos. And the Old Man ain't too bad scrubbed up, is he?
Although, for what it's worth (which isn't a lot), Piggers, not everyone likes or 'gets' babies. I know they're all defenceless and little, but tbh, I far prefer children to babies - even when they are being detestable. I was never around younger children - the first newborn baby I had ever seen was when I was 11 at school and the first time I saw a nappy being changed was when my brother became a dad when I was 13. So babies were pretty much an alien species to me when I had mine. (Mind you, when it came to puppies, rabbits, kittens and all other animals, I was well versed in dealing with them, so I never had any difficulties with adapting to a new pet compared to adapting to a baby)
Your OH was pretty limited in exposure to children before he moved in with you, wasn't he? So he would find it hard to recognise what is adorable about something that is totally outside his experience. But you are undoubtedly an expert with them and see their wonderfullness easily. I'm not excusing his attitude one bit - it stinks and I think that if I were faced with someone muttering about termination, I would most likely have murdered them with a tin of cat food to the head, out the back by the chicken coop where they wouldn't be discovered for a few years.
I would be tempted to present him with a leaflet on male sterilisation next time he strops out or makes a nasty comment about why people would ever have babies 'because men don't have the guts to do THIS'. Not because it would help much, but because it sounds as though he feels it's your fault, not an equal act.
But then again, the tin of Whiskas to the back of the head still appeals to me.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Morning all - wide awake way too early, so decided to get up!
HHI, then a quiet HHC in my office aka RoD until its late enough to go get showered. I'm up early so don't see why the others can't be levered up a bit earlier today - I feel a mega tidy & sort out day coming on - and maybe a bit of Ebaying?

Morning
Ebay stuff relisted as it is a free weekend!, I am sure I have more will sort it later for listing on Sunday afternoon after I get back from car boot, as I hope to go car booting tomorrow in MK, and off load a load more 'items of interest'!! Those who are listing remember postage goes UP on Monday.
OH is currently still in bed, coughing and spluttering stating he is ill, I'm not happy about it as he promised to take me early in to CMK to the ring shop to get ring resized and it will have to go away to be sorted, I want to wear it,<stomps foot> I guess I am being selfish, but I am like a kid with a free run of a sweet shop atm!
Cat is sat here looking at me as much to say when are you going to feed me!
greenbee~~I did join freegle at one time as a mod for an area near my other home!, but they were so far up their back sides with rules, they would have need a surgeon to operate, so they didn't harm themselves. Power hungry and all that, so I quit from them as well!! real jobs worths, and I HATE people like that, at the end of the day to me freecycle / freegle is about keeping stuff out of land fill sites, and the people in power have atm swallowed a rule book.......never heard such a load of c**p in my life. and breathe as you were.
More usefull stuff so far
WM x 2 on

Morning All
I've had a couple of very early nights and I'm back on my antibs but hey! There's plenty of jobs that need doing today if I can find some energy. DD wants me to take her for some new shoes as well and I need to get a Mother's day card.
Have a good day all
Hugs
