Done everything on my list now apart from Warfarin which I take just before I go to bed! Did my half hour knitting, though I had to unrip some rows cos I'd gone wrong :o! Listed DS's cotbed bedding on Netmums, will see if I get any interest. Going to get DH to take photos of it when he gets in; he is so much better than me at taking photos it's embarrassing!

Looking around I can do a few more bits and bobs that aren't on the list at all; and I'd quite like to get a bit of ironing done at some point so I don't have to do it on the weekend.

I have just dashed out to MrT and grabbed some bits for dinner. House is a tip.
DH has cycled to work so wont be home until 7.30pm.
I have until then to make the house presentable.

Why are you screaming? I am fairly sure it is not needed.

I asked the doc for contraception months ago.. and she said no.. I have already said this previously if you've not read that then maybe you should before jumpng to conclusions. I also asked about termination and she said no to that too.. and tried to justify her reasons which I don't feel I need to discuss or disclose to you.

I am not asking you to look after my children so I don't see why you are getting yourself so worked up about it.

I think you will also find that exclusive breastfeeding causes a high level of hormones which suppress ovulation (never for less than 14 months before for me) so it is a 'natural' way of spacing pregnancies and extended breastfeeding is used in many cultures as such. I have also breastfed through pregnancy before (2 year age gap so not the same at all nor proving anything) and tandem fed so unless she chooses to self wean Squeak will continue to be fed as long as she wants.

I am not compaining about having the baby.. and OH has only known less than a week. It took me about 3 weeks to get my head round it so I'm not expecting him to be jumping for joy I would like him to be a little more positive about Squeak TBH. She is here, she is lovely most of the time and I think he is very lucky to have such a healthy baby.. I just wish he could see it that way.

So your point is completely off bat and way inappropriate.. and totally irrelevant.. and if you have anything else to add to your drivel I would be pleased if you would take it off the flylady thread where it is completely inappropriate.

wow that post was just what you need when you're having a difficult time! <hugs> <hugs>

Just for some people's information - lots of mothers tandem feed their toddlers (or older children) and a new baby, there is no need to stop BF in pregnancy unless the mother chooses to do that because hormonal changes make continuing feeding hard to cope with - nipple pain can be common for example. If a mother is exclusively breastfeeding and does not have periods then for the first 6 months you have about the same chance of getting pregnant as you do on the oral contraceptive pill, after 6 months the chances of pregnancy increase.

Just wanted to add a supportive post if that's ok, I don't think any mother should have to justify how they feel about things like this - everyone's situation is unique and complex and I don't personally feel that any of us have the right to to judge or pass comment.

Anyway, back to flying! - done nada today as just got in from work and I am utterly utterly crackered beyond all belief.

ok ok I'll go and get some washing on then!

going to meet OH at the kids nursery and take them to the chippy for a sit-in fish and chips tea :D:D:D what good parents we are!

Been to a meeting this morning about opening a small business, very nerve wreaking but if all goes well we'll be going by september.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

vanilla - how on earth can you have the time an energy for a small business? you never cease to amaze me :T:T (BTW, if you're bored, my house needs decorating, and with your record it'll take you about 3 days :))

Should be doing some work... or at least some laundry... CBA and I KNOW its because the house is a tip after being away :(

Weekend needs to be spent clearing up the house and garden so I can focus properly next week.
