she was really rude and unhelpful she kept saying "all i can say is the fraud team have checked it against the receipt details and they cannot accept it its invalid" i kept explainin to her how can it be invalid I have printed it once it was before the T&C's changed but she literally would not listen to me.

She said she cannot send my voucher back to me.

I have got the email still which stil opens as £39.66.

Dont let this go! I would go into store with printouts and say look here missus! I would then phone HO instore and rant to them explaining that an accusation of fraud is beyond belief when you had the results emailed to you from Tesco themselves!

I would be like a dog with a bone until my voucher was accepted and I got some apology from the women who accused me of fraud!!!

I think you are missing the point.

Also theres big boards up in tesco and on stickers at every till that tell you that if you are overcharged on any item Tesco will give you double the difference by way of an apology.
 was looking at the T&Cs
    1. Where an item on a receipt is returned, Tesco reserves the right to invalidate the whole receipt for the purposes of Price Check or where a Price Check voucher has already been obtained, invalidate the voucher.
    2. Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
    3. Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.
    4. Returns will not be accepted because a product is not matched on Price Check.
    5. The Returns Policy does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
:) If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours, :)

If you get a cash refund when you paid by voucher than that is fraud.
Someone else went into this earlier on in this thread.
If the transaction was paid for by card or cash a refund is fine.

It is upto Tesco staff how they choose to refund you, the receipt will clearly show how the items were paid for. ITS IS NOT FRAUD!

Yes and this is why when you know somethings SEL is wrong and you will be overcharged, which we all will have more chance of knowing seeing as we know the prices, then you pay with cash and buy the item seperately!!!

    hi,

has anyone had any issues using their 'larger' vouchers from before the T&C's have changed? I had one for £39.66 and i used it on Saturday (by giving it to my delivery driver)

I have now had a call - i think from someone in store - saying they have spoke to the fraud department and they cannot accept my voucher!

She was sooo unhelpful and very rude and she wouldnt give me the number for the fraud department only customer services who were useless!!!

    Anyone had any problems???

I'd guess in reality it's in the bin and the 'Fraud Dept' talk is just to try to warn you off.

You should obviously treat the loss of your voucher as the loss of your cash, deliberately caused by your local home delivery team.

    That's verging on the criminal.

    Pursue it.

    OK I get it now.

You got an uncapped one, and must therefore have done this before 25th.

Before the 25th the T&C'as were not numbered, and there were no scissor marks on the right margin.

If you print it again now, you will note that these are now on the voucher (ridiculous I know).

You need to speak with CS now as the store are obviously just parroting their answer to you.

Use the words "I want to Complain" (so they log it as such), and explain how embarrassed you are at being called a liar and fraudster. they need to call the store and sort this out for you today.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

This is true if item was paid for by coupon the they should refund with a gift card but that is up to staff! Not like we are holding a gun to there heads and making them give money!
