  • Morning all,

Have been lurking on the thread for several days now; I finally went to do my Tesco shop on Saturday, buying a few DTD items (before discovering the spreadsheet). I popped my receipt in yeaterday morning so will report back (though th eitems are on the ss already).

Can anyone confirm if it matters how the date for the receipt is entered please? I entered mine as '02/04/11'. Would this be right or would '2/04/11' be right. What has worked for fellow MSE'ers?

OMG Took one day off from here as it was mothersday and now it will take the whole morning to catch up! Had a lovely mothers day due to all those fab dtd's but the diet has too start today, too much wine, kelly's icecream and after eights. I do agree with the comments about the S/S making it too easy for people to check dtd's but I lurked on this website for about a year before I finally plucked up the courage to post and found so much fab advice. I have saved a small forune in the last year all due to info that people had posted, so I think the ss is a double edged sword.
I'm still waiting for a voucher from Saturday that hasnt come back, it was in a different store that I went to, so just wondered if anyone else was waiting fo Saturdays?
Big Thank you to everyone that's posting and those who are lurking please share any deals that you have found.
Right, just off to check A + T's websites to see if nay new deals to be found!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

i entered mine as 1/04/11 but my voucher came back with 01/04/11 so i don't think it really matters

not so bad here now as we can,t call and book an appointment for days ahead, we have to call at 8am and see the doc the same day much easier now to get an appointment here, granted u still wait the same time in the waiting room though :(

    hi,

has anyone had any issues using their 'larger' vouchers from before the T&C's have changed? I had one for £39.66 and i used it on Saturday (by giving it to my delivery driver)

I have now had a call - i think from someone in store - saying they have spoke to the fraud department and they cannot accept my voucher!

She was sooo unhelpful and very rude and she wouldnt give me the number for the fraud department only customer services who were useless!!!

    Anyone had any problems???

I'd go back to the store and try again, then if they refuse it on the grounds of fraud ask them why they arent calling the police and tell them to call head office while you wait... or better still call head office yourself whilst stood at the customer service desk.

If you can get the store manager down its really quite satisfying passing them the phone and having head office agree with you and over rule them. ;)

did she say it was becuase it was over the £100 monthly limit as that is not fruad, just failing the T&C's.

Fraud would be them saying your voucher was a fraudulent one, either having already been printed and used, or something wrong with the voucher itself.

My bet is on the latter, eg, no scissor marks, no numbered T&C's (not evident on ANY vouchers printed before 25th March OR is using Internet explorere version 6), and numbers not matching.

All of the above are Tesco's fault, not yours and you need to call her back NOW and find out more.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

People have had success both ways, me myself I use 02 rather than just 2, as the month is 04 rather than 4.
Please God, help me stop spending!

Went this afternoon, grabbed a lot of stuff but then had to put most of it back! Could have split it in two but was with a friend who's a bit of a PITA

One of the things I put back was:
    FOX'S CHUNKIE COOKIE FRUIT & NUT 200G
which is a shame, it's going up tomorrow :(

I can't find Fox's Chocolaty vanilla shortcake either on tesco's site or mysupermarket
    .

these are still showing as £1 on the asda website?!
