I'm going to use my first DTD voucher tomorrow and just wondered if people had found a certain 'stereotype' of SA that doesn't kick up a fuss / call a supervisor making you feel guilty about the voucher etc i.e male/female/young/old etc or is it just hit & miss?

Also it may be already mentioned but i noticed tonight while comparing prices on Tesco / Asda sites, Kellogg's Elevenses 6 pack are £2.27 in T and £1 in A UNCONFIRMED though will try it tomorrow
28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A

The other risk about having the spreadsheet which hasn't been noted is that they are totally within their rights to define any shop built of products off the list as 'abuse' and so not pay up.

I think this is a very strong argument raised by Figlesquidge which i do not think anyone has raised previously.

Even worse would be if Tesco treated any items on such a "circulated list" as excluded from the offer.

  • I've just done my first "shops" today and hopefully will get 2 DTD vouchers back....I have input them through my hubby's e-mail and mine and wondered where/how I check to see tomorrow if the vouchers have been confirmed etc ?

Do you just need to wait on an e-mail coming through to your account or do you check somewhere to see the status of your receipt details that you input and upload?

    Thanks in advance:D

I think the general concensus is avoid older women SAs (like the plague) and go to young bloke SAs :D

I think if you search back someone mentioned the elevenses changing price, which I think is why they've been flicked to unconfirmed. They WERE working

I have now spent 2 vouchers 1 very very small and a medium one, and neither SA had seen them before , both middle aged ladies. I had to explain what they were and why I was showing them the receipt as well, I kept it as they didn't seem to want to keep it, I am keeping it in my notebook so I can refer back to them later for my limit and also to mark off my credit card statemnt . I have however put lines all through them and have no intention of trying to re use them. One thing this has made me more aware of now is the huge mark up on prices so they can claim they are half price or BOGOF a few weeks later.

    Should get an email.
If not you can just re-enter the same details and your voucher will appear if it has been processed.

So why hasnt the price on the rack of lamb changed?

Probably because the number of mug punters buying it at full price (and therefore twice the amount that they would pay at Asda!) is much greater than the number of people buying it on DTD (therefore they are still making a lot of profit - if that stops, they would change the price)?

Just go back to the pricecheck site and put the details in the same way as you did today. If it's been processed then you'll see the results. I wouldn't wait for emails as a lot of people don't get them. I reckon I get them less than 5% of the time!
