This isn't on the spreadsheet from what i could see but searching prices on both T and A websites just now i found this:
Gordon's Special Dry London Gin (350ml)
Asda = £7.97 (or 2 for £12)
Tesco = £8.79
so that means that in Asda 2 = £12.00, in Tesco 2 =£17.58
Difference of £5.58 which makes DTD = £11.16 and therefore the net price of the 2 bottles once you have taken the dtd fromt he original price is £6.42
I haven't tried this one either so it's not confirmed by me!!28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A0 -
Phew.. after what felt like (and probably was), hours of reading catching up with this thread I'm finally up to date (for now!)
I see both sides of the spreadsheet argument, but please can this thread go back to being about sharing info, experiences and humorous tidbits?!
Having said the above, I don't actually have any info, interesting experiences of humorous tidbits to contribute so I'm off to bed
Also, I'd like to say a big thank you to all the contributors :beer:0 -
Just a thought, why not give the spreadsheet a title.
SHOPPING LIST
After all most of us have used one at some time.0 -

- Lynx Metal Fine Quartz + Zinc Shower Gel (250) (silver 1)
By far a better idea would be to not buy the lynx but to buy something else with a good DTD and when you come to your 5th resuse of your £20 voucher, ie the one you can't recycle this month, the nivea gels are 72p and the imperial leather ones are 153p but BOGOF so nice and cheap too.0
