Every time I go to my local Tesco I have a stalker. Hes about 6ft 2, stocky and bald. The other day I decided to make him feel uncomfortable, so turned round and stared at him, until he walked away slightly, so I followed him. He seemed really confused, and went right back to his podium!! I then returned to my shopping :)

that's hilarious and a GREAT way of dealing with overzealous security! I find that I am always followed when I have my buggy with me and have to balance a basket or items on top of it to do my shopping. I always want to turn around and scream out that I am not a shoplifter, I have never stolen anything and I have no intention of starting now, especially not with ababy in tow!

Your method sounds like more fun!

    Have just looked here:

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=pringles&SortBy=3

Some are now marked "out of stock".

probably worth taking a list and checking in store - I've had lots of things that show as out of stock or are missing from Mr T's site.

Has anyone ever bothered to appeal anything? I bought some blackcurrent lucozade but I've heard that this flavour doesn't work. It's clearly on Asda's website exactly the same as the other flavours which have been confirmed. Seems a bit stupid that they wont compare on a certain flavour. Didn't know if it was worth contacting them to ask why they wouldn't compare it?
Its not worth it as its in their T&Cs and they dont compare every item!
:) If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours, :)

:) It wont cost you anything! :)

I was asked if I wanted my unmarked receipt and voucher back today once I'd paid the five pence towards three racks of lamb, unbelievable.

they must have been small packs

As a separate discussion point, Tesco reported Asda to the ASA for their Price Guarantee adverts (which was upheld on many counts and has meant that the adverts were banned apparently - thought I hadn't seen them recently). However, the press release over on Tesco corporate site has the interesting comment in the notes to editors "Because we do not believe that customers should have to return to Asda to redeem its Price Guarantee coupons – which are in themselves proof that Asda's promotion is misleading – Tesco will redeem these coupons in full."

Do you think this will come back to bite them - or have they covered this by allowing you to redeem for home delivery? Of course the next iteration of this price guarantee/price check war is that they will be so confident they will run the price check live while you are at the till (can you imagine the CS, "Sorry Sir/Madam, we have found that we are not cheaper, please have your shopping on us and here's your change ...").

You're right. They did say that. Kept to their word too. Although not quite in the way we were led to expect. Here's their new pricechecker site:

    http://www.tesco.com/pricewatch/?rfrom=glnm2

So does that now mean they are not claiming to be cheaper than Asda if they are using Ocado as a price comparison?
They surely can't claim to be cheaper tha Asda or they'll DTD if they are comparing prices against Ocado
    The end is nigh
