Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

I cant believe I have only just cottoned on to this one!!!
Im going to give it a go tomorrow, I was going to add a few bits to my normal shop, can any one give me a few items that would be worth adding?

alot of offers tesco have on at the moment asda don't
eg the MASSIVE dolmio pasta sauce jars in tesco ae a bargain at £1 at the moment

if you could be bothered you could do a DTD shop in asda but they only pay 10% right, what a ridiculous lipservice gesture 10% by asda compared to the tesco's, if they were that confident they were cheaper wouldn't they offer a higher rate of dtd???

regarding the twinings tea is it a particular brand thats on offer-sorry been ignoring posts about it and now thought perhaps this is a good time to try it!

It seems to me that Tesco have only just implemented the £100 check ie yesterday/today. I was just over the limit a few days ago on one addy - and I was still getting vouchers. It seems that only people who breeched the limit with yesterdays receipt have got the unwanted emails.

I suspect that the problem today with inputting receipts is a separate untermittent problem due to system overload or somthing similar. The one I did today appeared to be accepted but, until tomorrow, I can't be certain. The system didn't seem to be rejecting only those over the limit straight away. People only seem to get the unwanted emails after T's system tried to process the receipts - Tesco weren't rejecting receipts at the input stage, only at the voucher issue stage.

So anyone who submitted a receipt today , won't know if its worked until voucher time tomorrow.

I think the Tetleys is a better deal right now iirc

edit : Tetley Tea bags 160 per Pack 500g T = 3.88 A = 2.00 DTD 3.76 net cost 0.12 ... Credit to orignal posters!!

They say that of any one of about 3 shops is cheaper unless they are 10% cheaper they will give you the difference to 10%, its not bad they've just hedged it - obviously more savvy than Tescos.
