As I said in my post, i've had a good run on this and am happy with my lot..However it's the ordinary hardworking people that end up paying even though the large corporate is using false advertising.
I think most of us agree with you. For years Supermarkets have got away with 'misleading' customers. I remember seeing something in Tesco a few months back advertising for £4.99 - it was only when I had 6 in my basket that I notice £4.99 off leaving the price at £7.00 (or there abouts). This isn't just Tesco though to be fair.
Now it's payback time. Let Asda and Tesco be gladiators to the death, if necessary. There will always be other stores and it is great for competition. Wallmart and Tesco can afford to lose a few billion.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Hi guys can I just ask any of you that are doing 3 and 4 shops a day, how are you doing it, put them through seperate? keep going out of store? get others to put them through? I want to do this as I work full time and cant go through the week but i'm a wimp!! Just made another email address so I can run 4 at a time now i.e £20 voucher x 4 emails for 4 weekends all come to £80 within the month!!
I use ONE store nearly all the timeusually 2-3 transactions one after another, had a supervisor called over maybe once
used other store only twice but never had any problems either... 5 claims per email address should do... had all my vouchers on time and I had quite a few
I think going in and out of store will draw more attention... hth

Also - just to say, although i really appreciate all the hard work that has gone into the spreadsheet, i also do think its not a good idea - every time i have been shopping, even when i check prices before i leave home, when i get to the store some are different, seems like tesco are changing prices all the time. Also, beware, as they are not always putting new multibuy offers on the SEL - so , one way and another , its easy to get caught out or get all your careful calculations ruined! i think its better if you get a few ideas from what people have posted, but check out for yourself on the two websites. Many thanks to everyone for all the great posts - this is FUN! - have not had chance to even look at any other grabbits for ages...
You don't need accounts with Tesco to take advantage of this promotion. Just an email address.
Personally I like the spread sheet. Mr T could very easily keep a track on this thread with his one of many staff, if he so wished. In fact I guess that one is reading it now, as I write. HIYAAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

Mmmmmmmmmmm, just enjoying my
The Master Blender’s tasting notes : COURVOISIER® VSOP offers a delicate bouquet and excellent balance of oak and exotic flavours. The aroma is subtle and harmonious, with undertones of vanilla and grilled almond and the finish leaves a nice, tender memory.
Yeah, whatever, it tastes great!
Thank you Tesco! I'm getting another one tomorrow!"Retail is for suckers"

Thank you such much looby for those kind words. At the moment I am involved with the lady that I thought was a stalker but this appears to merely a misunderstanding as we were merely looking at the same items in Mr Cohen's fine establishment.
The last time that we met she was looking at:
PERSIL POWDER NON BIO 50WSH/4.25KG £ 9.00 £ 7.00
and I named her Persephone and thought of her as my "Siren of the Suds".

I have been wondering... All this started with A promising 10% back for things that can be found cheaper... then mr T came up with DTD..
Are there going to be times when with all the price swapping you could buy things from A and claim back the difference and get some money back?
apologies if this makes no sense!!! I am wrong side of a couple of gin n tonics...
Oh and thank you to whoever found the after8's... I got some yesterday and it was confirmed... and I am giving them to my dad for mothers day!! My mum died a few weeks ago and she isnt here to give them too!! She was a great fan of MSE and i am sure will be very happy for him to have them - after all she wouldnt have been my mum without him"Aunty C McB-Wik"
