Does anyone know when the next clubcard points are released? thanks0

By the way, I eventually managed to find some of the lamb rack loads of you have been tormenting me with.
It had better be nice. Might depend on my cooking skills though  which are not great.

It's wombling Time.
It is now approaching the hour of darkness when the Creatures of the Night appear on this thread (usually inebriated with Mr Cohen's finest chardonnay).
I am donating £5 to any charity that the winner selects for any "Wombler" who can beat my record for the LOWEST DTD on a genuine wombler receipt. Simple rules - no cheating.
Here is mine to beat:
TOTAL £ 12.10 £ 11.99
2 x KNORR 8 CHICKEN STOCK CUBES 80G £ 1.80 £ 1.80
2 x SHARWOODS MEDIUM NOODLES 375G £ 2.00 £ 2.00
1 x WHITE POTATOES 2.5KG TRAY £ 1.37 £ 1.37
1 x TESCO ROOT GINGER LOOSE (0.25 kg) £ 0.53 £ 0.53
2 x TESCO VALUE MIXED HERBS 18G £ 0.38 £ 0.38
1 x HELLMANNS REAL MAYONNAISE 800G £ 2.00 £ 2.00
1 x AMOY LIGHT SOY SAUCE 150ML £ 0.76 £ 0.76
1 x TESCO GROUND TURMERIC 45G £ 0.47 £ 0.47
1 x TESCO FRESH DOUBLE CREAM 600ML £ 1.50 £ 1.50
1 x TESCO SMOKED PAPRIKA 48G £ 0.79 £ 0.78
1 x TESCO GROUND CUMIN 43G £ 0.50 £ 0.40
1 x TESCO GARAM MASALA SPICE BLEND 38G £ 0.77 N/A
1 x SHALLOTS ONIONS 300G CLASS 2 £ 1.00 N/A
1 x MIXED CHILLIES 56G £ 0.54 N/A
1 x TESCO GROUND CINNAMON 40G £ 0.65 N/A
1 x TESCO NATUALLY SWEET SWEET CORN 3X200 £ 0.96 N/A
1 x MARKET VALUE GARLIC 3 PACK £ 0.59 N/A
1 x MARKET VALUE CLOSED CUP MUSHROOMS 350G £ 0.69 N/A
Final result: Overcharge 11p therefore DTD 22p.
That's it folks......... 22p DTD to beat for a good cause. It must be a genuine womble. £5 to charity if you can.

p.s Very best wishes to the young lady that I met in the car-park of my local branch of Mr Cohen's. We recognized each other by the contents of our baskets and uttered the code-words, "Are you a friend of Martins?" before we entered into discussion of a nature that is well-known to readers of this thread.
The lady informed me that was stocking up on items of personal hygiene for her son who was stating university later this year. Things like :
LYNX RECOVER SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 2.37 £ 1.00
LYNX RISE SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 2.37 £ 1.00
LYNX SHOCK SHOWER GEL 250ML £ 2.37 £ 1.00
HERBAL ESSENCES DAZZLING SHINE 2 IN 1 400ML £ 3.32 £ 1.50
HERBAL ESSENCES DAZZLING SHINE COND 400ML £ 3.32 £ 1.50
COLGATE SENSATION WHTNG TOOTHPASTE 100ML £ 2.30 £ 1.50
COLGATE TOTAL PROFESSIONAL TOOTHBRUSH MED £ 2.86 £ 1.00
Oh how we laughed at the thought that a dutiful mother would buy such products for a first-year student. Would any first-year student use items of personal hygiene when it is possible to obtain:
MAGNERS IRISH CIDER 568ML £ 18.36 £ 11.34
at such an advantageous price at Mr Cohen's superb emporium?
This time, your shop would have been £ 0.03 cheaper at ASDA so we'll give you a voucher for double the difference back!**0 -

That one is different to the one people have been mentioning. The £7.98 version is a sparkling brut, and it's with the champagne etc. The £4 version is in one of those oval shaped bottles and is with the rose. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
I don't understand why they have used the same barcode for all vouchers, seems completely illogical.
I think it is so they can calculate very quickly what promotion it is related too. I bet Mr. T knows on the hour, every hour, how much is being redeemed. Saves waiting for weeks of break downs of vouchers/coupons.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
LOL, exactly what I have been doing.
Put the e mail address on an envelope, put receipts into the envelope, and record on the envelope how many times you have used this e mail, simples : 0

entered my receipt details; put 01/04/11 in the end. there are space for 2 characters and i figured that if i submitted 1 /04/11, then the comuper may say 'no'! i was thinking perhaps it may add add a '0' after the '1'? since that space is left blank? perhaps i'm over-thinking!
oh no, i decided to put '1' - worried now :eek:0
