We were quite hungry as spent an hour going around tesco doing 2 separate shops.
Just input my new receipts when do you think I will get the email sunday or have to wait until monday?0 -
Just back from T and redeemed a 20.00 voucher earned from a basket yesterday which was paid voucher + cash with no clubcard.
Checkout operator scanned voucher AND the barcode of the accompanying original receipt [non-Clubcard transactions print a transaction barcode at the bottom for retrospective points allocation.]
This would allow linking of "anonymous" transactions - ie. associating the "earn" and "spend" transactions of those of us not using clubcards. Linking up the earn/spend > earn/spend > earn/spend recycling chain!
Sneaky!
That happened to me today - I thought it was odd especially as the CA didn't seem to have a clue what the voucher was! Maybe it was just that they thought they had to scan everything ie not acting on a new instruction, just not knowing what to do.ELITE 5:2

Oh Bottoms! Finally found and bought the lamb today. Got Nobilo wine to go with it, but forgot about the roasty spuds! Now I'll HAVE to go back tomorrow!0 -

when I asked the young lad who served me today to sign the receipt he scribbled over the barcode. I don't think he was told to do that he just thought if the barcode is crossed out it cant be used.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

hopefully you will read this, if you do a normal big shop and add a couple of dtd things you might not (probably won't) get a dtd voucher back because if you buy things that ARE cheaper at tesco it dilutes the dtd amount. its best to do a normal shop then put your dtd things through seperatly after. and don't forget that the dtd voucher amount is capped at £20 so don't get carried away!!:)
Brilliant! You are a STAR! :beer:0
