if you pay cash they cant trace you. personally i cant leave the clubcard points behind though

Can't they track by IP address? I know many other voucher companies do don't they. I can't leave cc points either lol. :p

Tesco can't pass a simple instruction to staff let anlone anything complicated like tracking. I work in a huge office, so my IP related to every computer there.

Mind you I did download a film once, the takedown notice and threat of legal proceedings did come back to my boss who tracked it down to me, so maybe they can!!

They could if they wanted to. It may be something they are considering - who knows? But what about those who use it at work, library, shared houses etc?

The simple fact it is that it is breaking their T&C's but not the law. Monitoring of use is upto Tesco.

I am soooooo cross with myself. rushed out to mt t last night before they closed and quickly rewrote my list before I went. I have jsut realised that I only got one ariel excel gel instead of two so instead of £6.04 dtd I will get 2p if I'm lucky:mad:

I used a £20 voucher lastnite. the old dear on the till shouted over to customer services ive got one of them vouchers here.. with that everyone in tescos turned round and looked at me like a bad smell. the supervisor came over and told her what to do with it, she took the voucher of me and said what a scam... i then said well if tescos keep overcharging me i will be using some more. i took my receipt and said see you tomorrow:rotfl:

surely the only easy way they can track your spend is with your clubcard...hence the reason for it so they can target different people with different offers!!! i've forfeited the points...after all i'm getting free items so claiming points on free things doesnt sit well with me! ;)
  • what are the offers on ariel excel gel and can i use the £1 off voucher as well as my DTD voucher??

We need a tesco employee to tell us how it scans through. I think it's just perhaps classed as a coupon, like a regular money off one?
