You can use other coupons with your dtd voucher as long as you are buying the product - I've used a £2 off Iams when I got some dog food.:D

Correct. Mysupermarket might be quicker to establish a comparison but you need to confirm on Asda's website

Sorry for going over old ground, but is there any problem spending a big voucher still? I havent had chance to check this thread in days. Its £80 and valid until 19th April.I've looked through the last 15 pages or so trying to see but now i'm getting blinded by all the new deals that i can barely remember what i was looking for in the first place lol

The simple answer is no. The longer answer is that you may get 25 Supervisors and 15 Managers along with the Regional Director, being accompanied by 4 Security Guards, monitoring your every move.

Sadly the training has a lot to be desired, like I found out again this morning when I was asked for my clubcard, in order to redeem the voucher.

personally, i don't think you'll have any problems as the voucher was issued before the cap was introduced. tesco staff SHOULD be aware of this......but they probably won't be.

it really depends on your local store and your checkout worker.

@stebiz - doesn't sound like your store is clued up on their own offer! it's a shame that some people receive such awful service. :(

it has been mentioned a few times, but the best checkout worker to go to is your <20 year old spotty teenager; of the male variety.

i always try and look out for these; if they are flirting/chatting with the <40 year old female sales assistant too, then you have hit the jackpot.

they're also the ones that never give you green clubcard points, despite pointing out that you have re-used bags.

even if this checkout worker has the longest queue, i will quite happily join it.

    :)

    Absolutely spot on....love it :)

but you forgot to add weekends, that's when you'll have plenty to choose from ;)
  • Hi. Spent a £56 voucher yesterday. Absolutely no problem. SA didn't ask for receipt. Then Mum used a £20 voucher. Same. The SA was young (not spotty) male. I always find the young ones are more helpful, probably less jaded and understand why you want to save some cash.

    Why is it fraud?
I have returned two tonight, I pointed it out to CS that they were purchased with a DTD voucher and asked if it was ok to return them they said no problem but not for a cash refund, I was refunded by gift card.
    Where is the fraud?

Its all a grey, muddy area! I can't see the problem in returning an item ourchased with a DTD voucher - after all, its been properly paid for albeit with a voucher instead of cash.

What does bother me though is returning an item which has been paid for by any method - after you have received and used a DTV obtained for that same item ! Thats a completely different scenario which I am not comfortabale with.
