I have had my third receipt not found at Leicester Beaumont (none have ever gone through) so I rang customer services and spoke to Jane. I had already emailed the price checker team with a scan of my receipt and document detailing price comparisons of each item on the receipt and what I expected from a voucher so I forwarded these to her stating I felt that this particular store was false advertising as I was aware of 5 other people who had failed to get any receipt checked (15 total). She is looking into it for me. If you ring, this will add to my theory! HTH
Can I ask if you spoke to someone instore or at Tesco's main customer services? I'm happy to help, but need to know where to contact. Thank you.

Is anyone else still waiting on price check results from Friday, or did everyone else get theirs in the end?

    Still waiting.

It must be so nice to be able to shop where you like regardless of cost or budget. Thank you sooo much for highlighting that you are so much better off than the rest of us and rubbing our noses in the fact.

Some people on here can't afford the basics of life and struggle to pay bills and rent . My mother often went without food herself to ensure we ate a decent meal.

Thank you for showing us how the other half live it is so educational to be shown how poor and worthless we are just for trying that little bit extra to make our money stretch.

    :T
    Well said.
I usually can't afford branded products so it has been a treat for me to buy brands such as Surf and Comfort.

I could be wrong of course but I went to my Asda first where the Chasse was Viognier but in Tesco it was Oak aged, I might just not have spotted the right one. Was yours oak aged?

Crystaltipps that was so well put. You have A way with words.

Thanks - I know this isn't discussion time and I am taking up valuable space with my mutterings but sometimes it is hard to read and ignore!

If I had won the lottery, then perhaps I wouldn't care but I know I am not the only one here that has to survive on a low budget and being able to get my girls Pantene Ice Shine (which they both love) or some decent wine for me is a fantastic treat.

We had steak for the first time in ages this weekend and we also have four packs of those lovey Jamie Oliver sausages to eat in the freezer. Normally I am lfishing for a decent price on Richmond!

And frankly, I wonder why some people have the time or inclination to post criticisms on what has been the biggest grabbit I have ever seen since I joined.

I used my first ever voucher today at the self service (£15) and it wouldn't go through without the SA so she came over and couldn't get the till to type in the amount so she went to another till and recalled my shopping through somehow.... So now my reciept says "Recalled Transaction". I am worried it will fail the price check for some reason now, has this happened to anyone else?

Can i submit two receipts in one day or do i need to use another email address?

Surely all current Pricecheck promotional material is now bin fodder with the new T&Cs...........

Yep i was in today and noticed there were none of the aisle banners, paranoia set in more when i overheard two staff talking:

"Oh i hadn't realised they'd stopped doing it"
"No me neither they've just done it"

I didn't know what they were talking about but i was like :eek: so went off to CS before checkout to make sure it was still on and she said yes it's still on! Phew :D
