the one i am waiting for since friday is a cash one without clubcard

The one I am waiting for since Friday was paid for by voucher and cash, and no clubcard was used. I am still within my £100 limit.
Please God, help me stop spending!
  • Are you upset because:

    a) you are a supplier to Tesco and already unhappy at the painfully low margins and sole exclusivity rights they demand of suppliers and worried this will simply make things worse, yet you still shop there as perhaps an unconscious obligation (or to check your product is on the shelves still); or
    b) that you didn't get your Pizza Express Margherita pizza that you then went public to say you didn't want anyway, indicating that in all actuality, you did?

I'm genuinely intrigued - psychology fascinates me :-)

how old are you for asking such things? FYI there isnt even a pizza express near me, if i got one i would of given it to someone else anyway which i always do if i find an offer like that..

i understand that both companies will have items cheaper than the other and thats just how it always will be. to go to the effort to base a whole shopping list on whats cheaper is ridiculous, i shop at tescos because its convinient. if waitrose or another more expensive place was closer id probably shop there. i dont see how my post indicated my unhappiness with either company? but yeh i still feel the same, i think its wrong what some of you are doing with basing your shopping list to get everything ultimately for free. if you look at most of the things people are finding its the branded mass produced items which are rather unhealthy but people are buying it just because its cheap/free..
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

i was in my local extra today seen T have put up price comparrison next to prices on shelf showing there price & that of A price, but the thing is they were false prices the shampoo i got herbal essence 400g was £3.32 in T & aparently £3.42 in A so i went on to mysupermarket site & double checked A own site & even went into A & it says £1.50 on all of them, that was the start pepsi aparently is £1.79 in A again false its been £1 for ages.
i think i should contact trading standards as this is fooling the puplic in to buying there over priced stuff.

saw these too just now! they have the date they were compared in small print- all early march on the ones i saw

SEARCH - have you checked you 'junk mail'? Only ask as i was waiting 4 days for my 5th voucher to turn up - all the others came overnight. Just before I phoned CS I looked in the junk folder - there it was, and had been sitting there for 3 days! Don't know how/ why it happened, but might be worth checking.

I used my 'biggie' today, no problem. In store reduction of £80 off a Dell laptop and when I gave the SA my £85.61 voucher he looked a little puzzled, scanned the barcode and said 'well that looks like it worked'. He asked me why I had given him a reciept - I pointed out the T/C. He glanced at it said 'well I've seen it, here you go'. Reciept back to me in original condition, and £165 off a nice new laptop. Now I can sit on the sofa making my £20 DTD lists rather than in the office, it's very lonely up here!!
