Just had a voucher not accepted!

After speaking to 4(!!) members of staff and being kept waiting 15 minutes, I was told they wouldn't accept it because of the 12/24 hour clock numbers not matching. Of course the more senior member of staff left it to the junior to pass on the good news. Stayed calm and asked her to check with CS by phone in the morning because her manager was wrong (and I didn't like the implication that the voucher wasn't legit - it is!). Left my shopping and kept the voucher & receipt.

Not impressed. Not least because I told 2 members of staff when I found that the icecream in the freezer had melted and they did nothing about it!
There's a dose of food poisoning brewing at that branch. Ugh!

Tesco - Every little (bit of poor customer service) helps (convince me I'd rather shop in ASDA).

Not sure if this has been posted but John Freida Frizz Ease products are 3 for £10 at Asda, £5ish each at Tesco - so if you buy 3 you get a DTD of somewhere around £10.

Check carefully on mysupermarket before you go as Asda have sold out of a few products so make sure you get ones that are in stock at asds

tesco have reduced price of couple of products so NO DTD on them now BEWARE!!!

Is anyone else still waiting on price check results from Friday, or did everyone else get theirs in the end?

Looks like they have also reduced Cookie Crisp 565g. It's now £2 in Tesco (used to be £2.99) and £2.43 in Asda (was £2).

No bad thing if this promotion encourages Tesco to really make their prices a bit cheaper.
