Evening all. For the booze crew, I am testing whether the following work: Redwood, Hardy's £10.49 despite that disappearance on Asda, Mateus Brut Rose. Laters

Shopped at the Tesco Edgbaston at the weekend, all my other vouchers from my local Tesco have come though fine, but this one from Saturday entered Sunday, nothing still says being processed.

Just wondered if anyone else had problems with this one?

    edit arrived tuesday afternoon

    Thanks

Adds: the La Chasse du Pape Chardonnay was not the same as in Asda.
  • how old are you for asking such things? FYI there isnt even a pizza express near me, if i got one i would of given it to someone else anyway which i always do if i find an offer like that..

i understand that both companies will have items cheaper than the other and thats just how it always will be. to go to the effort to base a whole shopping list on whats cheaper is ridiculous, i shop at tescos because its convinient. if waitrose or another more expensive place was closer id probably shop there. i dont see how my post indicated my unhappiness with either company? but yeh i still feel the same, i think its wrong what some of you are doing with basing your shopping list to get everything ultimately for free. if you look at most of the things people are finding its the branded mass produced items which are rather unhealthy but people are buying it just because its cheap/free..

I got shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, body lotion, washing powder and fabric conditioner.
None of these items are unhealthy.
No it's not wrong doing what we are doing.
Tesco are wrong as their prices obviously aren't cheaper as they claim to be.
    Smile....:)

Is anyone else still waiting on price check results from Friday, or did everyone else get theirs in the end?

Mine from Friday is still being processed and I am getting a tad annoyed. Surely it doesn't take them that long to do it eh?
  • I, for one, have not just been buying junk. The nearest to junk is the enigmas - something that will sit in my freezer for weeks and weeks. I have stocked up on beans, washing liquid and softener, coffee, wine, cheese, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner etc.

But even if I was filling a chest freezer with wedges and vienettas then that is entirely my prerogative as an adult that can make choices and decisions over my purchases.

I think some are confusing one of the biggest companies in the country - one that takes vast amounts of money on an hourly basis and uses its buying power to manipulate suppliers, for a benevolent charity or co-operative.

If I can get some cheap/free stuff out of Tesco then I blooming well will. And if I have to, normally, take advantage of both Asda, Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons to reduce my grocery expenditure by even 10%, and have the time to do it, then I will.

My experience of Tesco ramping up prices to cover their costs of BOGOF etc, or doubling prices only to 'half price' them at a later date, is enough justification to turn the tables on them for a change.

Thank you to everybody here for posting up your finds. It is very much appreciated.

Tesco have said its a backlog due to high number of claims put in that day.

Just got back from another succesful couple of shops :)

    WARNING:
My sister got the Blue Top Heidsick monopole chamapagne, Asda is £19, SEL at T's stated £28.97 (or thereabouts) so would be a nice £20 voucher, however it went through at £14 something... not sure of the exact amount as it was my sisters. It was taken off the T.com, so we couldnt check before we went.
