Well being a glutton for punishment I have rung them again. This time had a friendlier soul on the telephone so asked how long vouchers were taking for processing as mine had been submitted Friday but hadnt heard anything (also made out I wasnt expecting anything - lie, lie, lie). She said there maybe was a backlog and offered to check for me, so I gave her the receipt details (awkward) and she said its still processing (er, yes, I knew that duh). She said it might help 'jog the other one along' (eh?) and that I would get the original one back first (completely lost me now). I just said thanks and bye. Still no clearer than I was before.

It seems like there are still problems with the system and particularly at Tesco Beaumont Leys. I was told this when I phoned this morning about two vouchers in a row not being accepted/details not found. I'm not holding out much hope for the one I submitted yesterday for a £120 shop going through either. I asked if I could send the receipts in to claim, but was told that it could only be done online and it's tough basically. So I'm down by about £30 worth of vouchers and aren't too happy about it. Does anyone know if there is a way of getting them or do I have to write them off?
Thank you.0 -
It sucks when Tesco obviously put prices up just because Asda have done the same so they can get away with it. For example, their macaroni cheese ready meal went down to £1 to match Asda but i realised the other day it was back up at £1.37! Of course just looked at Asda and there's is the exact same price. So i don't know how they can actually call themselves the cheaper supermarket when they are just trying to keep on par with Asda and minimise DTD losses that way. Ugh.0

similarly read about olay aqua physics being n/a for someone but DTD (read - hideously overpriced) for some other lucky person. there seems to be no sense in anything - complete hit-and-miss affair!?
planning to buy the lamb this eve. any lamb-related experiences appreciated
That was me I bought 3 bottles yesterday, I know it's well over the £20 DTD but I wanted to use my last £5 NOTW paper voucher and the wine will be used to wt my new baby's head
Sorry to hear that yours were n/a, I checked while I was in store on both ASDA and Tesco and they were the same prices as before.2014 Swagbucks goal - £50/ £300 - 16/01/2014

FAO yummy.scrummy.mummy Tesco are more expensive than asda for some of their slimfast products and salad produce so for those who over indulge in the sweeter dtd bargains they can always buy some of those
I don't really understand why someone would feel the need to come on to the thread for the simple purpose of putting down those who look for a bargain. Why even sign up to a money saving forum if you aren't even remotely bothered about saving?! We have created a lovely dtd community and welcome newbies but if you randomly attack people and their genuine willingness to indulge in a bargain then it simply won't be tolerated
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
