i dont have an asda close to me.. and even if i did i still wouldnt bother going to the hassle just to screw one company over another, its obvious some items will always be cheaper in other stores and to base your entire shopping list over whats cheaper where is quite silly.. carry on buying those magnums which you may not have bought otherwise and see the effect on your diet!

Out of interest, have you met bargainmaiden yet? I think you'd hit it off ;)

  • Can't understand this as the drop in limits from £100 to £20 per shop happened on Thursday when all the kerfuffle started. I had gone and done a shop with my mum as I had reached my £100 limit for the month on Thursday and when I came back to see the issues, I was expecting her voucher to be capped at £20 but it came through as the full amount of DTD and it came Saturday morning so the CS lady must've got it wrong as if any days vouchers were going to be delayed, it would have been mums from Thursday afternoon but she got it as anticipated on Saturday morning. I think they have just made some sort of !!!!-up on Fridays receipts???

No they didnt give a time scale. It does seem a bit odd that all the delayed ones are from Friday. To be honest the woman I spoke to wasnt exactly warm and friendly, she must have mentioned the word 'abuse' about 10 times in the 2 mins I was on the phone. She just kept going on about how people were trying to con Tesco and that the receipts submitted at that time were also being studied for fraud due to people trying to get the £100 before it dropped to £20.

She did also mention they are not stopping this promotion.

However I am now at the point where I will start afresh with a new £20 shop tomorrow, if I write this one I am waiting for off I wont be so disappointed if it doesnt arrive, if it does come all well and good. I still have my doubts over whether they have just cocked up those receipts.

Maybe be best not to call ....how would you know you were getting a voucher if you were a 'genuine shopper' as Mr T would call you ....you would only know if you had done your homework:rotfl:

Used receyled voucher on Tuesday- A week later, still no voucher. Maybe that is where the delay is, when vouchers are being recycled.

Hi, my voucher was a recycled one, submitted it yesterday and came through ok today, same for wifeys.

Argh! I don't think I'm clever enough to "play the game"
Did my first voucher this weekend and spent it today on more DTD. But as I've got home I've realised I put in items where the difference is £20 BEFORE doubling. If I'd only put them through in 2 lots, I'd have had 2 £20 vouchers to spend:mad:
