I did a 'normal' shop today for the first time in what feels like weeks.
You would not believe what a chore it is, I should have had blinkers on, I struggled to look for special offers, and pick to up the free one on the BOGOF. However shopping is done and the £101 voucher that was burning a hole in my pocket is spent.
I had no problems with the large voucher at all, the SA had never seen one (and she works there full time) she didnt know what to do with it, she scanned it and had to call a supervisor as it was over £100, she just pushed a button on the till and that was that, service with a smile as usual.
Cant wait so see what the difference is tomorrow : )
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • Still waiting for voucher from Sunday mornings input.
Is anyone still taking advantage of this DTD deal?
Just that there is so many negative comments appearing on this thread I feel like I'm in the wrong.
    I've only had 2 vouchers so far - £28 and £15.

So am I right in thinking that in addition to actually getting a DTD voucher, you can potentially re-use the SAME voucher? If so, I do agree that that is very greedy and could lead to the promotion being spoilt for everyone. Surely getting the vouchers themselves is enough of a good thing?

This, at the very least, WAS correct but the impression the supervisor gave me today was that a voucher scanned through once will raise a flag if an attempt to use it again occurs. For this to be the case, the barcodes would have to be unique though (not necessarily the barcode numbers), and I don't have two £20 vouchers to compare (yet!).

Does anyone know whether ASDA or TESCO would accept a number of combined vouchers to pay for raffle prizes if it was proven to be for charitable reasons? My church is trying to raise funds for a trip to Suriname and it would be useful if we could tell people to either bring their receipts into church (assuming they don't want to use them) and then we could check them and if they were worth anything, set them aside? I know it's more geared towards individual shoppers but if the people are prepared to offer them up and they meet the criteria for the schemes, then it's money that people could claim anyway.

Just a thought and I would welcome any thoughts/advice people might have.

Just a little thought I had earlier today!!
With so many people doing extra shops because of the dtd and they are getting the vouchers for schools, this will mean that Tesco will be issuing more vouchers than they normally would and will cost them even more money!!!
My sister and I seem to have lots of them recently.!!
