do items need to be on tescos website to be eligable for DTD?? iv been on thismorning and seen huggies natural care wipes but iv just gone on to double check the price and the item has gone off the website?
No, they just need to be on the ASDA website.

Went to Tesco this morning, they still scan at £2.59 (or BOFOF, so buy only one) and £1.00 at ASDA.

  • Am i the only person that would be terrified to take things back / use the same receipt twice?! I have 2 young boys and the thought of me going to prison (although i have never even had a caution so i doubt i would go to prison, thats just my overactive imagination) or my face being splashed all over the papers as Tesco's scapegoat terrifies me!! Tesco are obviously looking for a way out of this deal, so if they can get one "poster child" for theft, and say "this is why we pulled it, this person here and thousands like them" why hand it to them on a plate?! I have recycled vouchers (bought something, got a voucher, used it, imput the new receipt, bought something...) but would never take things back or reuse a voucher. I suppose those with the balls to do it are getting a better deal than me, but its just not worth the risk.

:T I agree totally have said already on here id be mortified if my face was plastered on a tesco wall with a 'do u know this person' tag..... it deffo not worth the risk play within the rules and is still good, plus i wouldnt have the hard neck to return anything lol id buckle under the pressure :rotfl::rotfl:

they came up as n/f for me from Saturday's shop - although were ok from Friday's shop!!
Really? I had them DTD on both Friday and Saturday.

I know that Huggies Pure wipes are definitely N/F.

Totally agree. The way I look at it is some you win and some you lose. I am definitely on the winning side and am very grateful for what I have had. I definitely wouldn't take anything back if I had made a mistake. For one thing I really don't want to draw attention to myself. I am nervous enough just handing over the vouchers but then I'm a bit of a wuss!:)
me too lol luckily my 6ft 5 hubby has been around for the last week & i get him to use the vouchers as i think they'd be too scared to tell him no :rotfl:don't know what i'll do when he goes back to working away later this week

Came up for me. Try putting in "Huggies". Is it the second item listed you are looking for?

    Or try Huggies Wipes.

I bought a tesco indian meal for two - you know the ones in the carrier bag for £6.48, purely because I wanted this to impress a young lady that I have met in Mr Cohen's Fine-Food Emporium. (See my post number 557 for further details of this potential liaison).

I was not expecting any DTD but Mr Cohen was kind enough to let me know that the same product is only £5 in the shop of his competitor Mr Asdanovitch and consequently I received some DTD.

I hope this information is of some use to the kind posters on this thread.

These are showing up as £5 on both T and A for me

On another note, unrelated to vouchers 'I think'. I was in Tesco last week and a supervisor went upto the security guy and said, she's in again. I was surprised to see the security guy get a photo album out with still shots, from the CCTV, and ask her to point the woman out. He said 'I'll get her on the way out'.

    Morning all!

PSML @ all the useless husbands in this and the other thread getting the wrong things/extra items that may affect DTD! I sympathise, and that's why I haven't let OH do any DTD shopping for me! :o

No, theoretically you could do it that way. But Tesco HQ will have the different accounts at one address, that they could match up, if they had reason to, at a future date. Not worth it in my opinion. But it is upto you.

But what if it was your housemate (ahem)? I know it's probably not worth it, but all those lovely points sitting there on my receipts not being claimed makes me feel a bit ill ha ha...
Depends what the marketing manager can tell the Board, I am thinking along the lines of this.....

    Since launcing this promotion.....

Footfall through all our stores is up, Transactions are up in all stores, we are selling x amount of more grocerys, oh and you should see how many roasting pans we sold at 10.00 each since starting this promotion... Can I have a raise please?

    :D
    Regards

I am really saddened reading all the 'fraud' posts and I really hope that those people think again. You are very likely to be caught, and you will probably spoil this promotion for everyone else! Please, please don't think about reusing your receipts with duplicate vouchers.

Also, it is not on to return items once you have used a DTD voucher iro that receipt. I am feeling very nervous now about returning the roasting tins that I didn't get DTD on, even though I am doing nothing wrong. :(

End of lecture. Thanks for reading. :)

So... who's been to Tesco already??? I didn't go yesterday and am raring to go at lunchtime (and after work)!!!! :D
