That would be 100,000 customer transactions x 2500 stores = 250,000,000 transactions per week.

    Steady on, old chap ;)

I think the "250,000,000 transactions a week" is since they introduced the DTD mullarky :D

ok i think i might have found one , well comparing on the website..

    tetley teabags, 160 ( 500g)

    mr t £ 3.88 or 2 for £6/ A £2.00

so in theory if i go to mr t tomorrow and buy one pack of these teabags i should get a voucher for £3.76? yes

Yep buy 1. But keep an eye on them make sure they don't change price before you shop.

I think you're thinking of net margin. Gross margin is far higher. On the things (middle ranking FMCG) they buy from my wife they make over 40% gross margin.

Sorry if I didn't explain it properly I am referring to net profit margin. For those who are unsure what I mean

    Turnover minus Cost of Goods/Services/Wages/Tax

Just to make all you guys aware keep an eye out, especially in the wine aisle, for the banner signs that hang down where SA slips in an A4 sized poster with promos on as I got another 2 free bottles of wine today as OOD poster in one of these and 2 bottles of herbal essences free again due to OOD promo! The thing is staff remove SEL's but forget to remove these from the side banners or whatever they call them! Just an easier way to DTD without having to email and wait! Cash in hand!!!!

thanks floflo... so if someone bought 2 packs of the teabags which T's are sellong on offer for £6 does that mean you would only get £4 dtd for the 2 packs bought? so its only worth buying the 1 pack?

also, in theory if i didnt have a computer to 'compare' the prices, would i have to go to the help desk for them to find out for me?

Just wondering how poeple are suposed to compare the prices if they dont go on the computer...

Well that's like saying, "I only killed him a little bit, officer." Lol!

It's not like that at all.

But if that's how you want to see it then that's fine with me.

There is extreme abuse of the system going on. Thankfully I am not one of them. I am not saying I haven't abused the system. Up till now I have abused it by £40!

I must admit I feel less guilty every day when I see what others are up to! ;)

erm inverness was north of Aberdeen and Elgin last time i checked and it is on the east.... same side as Aberdeen lol

haha its all got a bit confusing somewhere along the line, even tho im in scotland i google mapped elgin, i think the op was trying to say inverness is west of elgin as apposed to the west side of scotland, looking at the map i think elgin is higher point north than inverness centre though could be wrong my map reading leaves alot to be desired!

who knows im near glasgow and i get dizzy if i go past elgin, like i said before i would have a nose bleed near inverness. plus i cannae understand a thing you all say up there hahaha

All stores I have ever been to have honoured it! At CS desk there should be a big plaque thing and states something likec "if things dont add up and we overcharge you we will give you DTD" Some staff need a gentle nudge but most should give it to you! If not fight for it~! They made the rule!
