  • think a lot have comented on how few customers seem to be taking part in the dtd, i know in my case they havent seen many vouchers at all .... so if customers have been using same vouchers twice etc, its not really gonna be that difficult for them to 'find' that customer on their cctv... receipts are all date and time stamped afterall so theyll be able to check back on date and time a specific voucher amount was used..... theyve quoted approx 1 in 5000 customers have had higher than norm vouchers, they have around 2500 stores so approx 2 in every store using vouchers ( rough calculation ) lol if anyone has used the voucher more than once id think theyll be able to trace them and to be honest they prosecute shoplifters for less afterall !!

I don't believe they are going to pull the DTD just like that.

Stories of people clearing shelves, or people complaining about spending over their vouchers disgusts me to be honest. This is beyond greed and it is these people who will ultimately end this promotion. Surely a bit of consideration for others and even Tesco....a shop btw that I dislike but at the end of the day we have been so lucky but people are still slagging Tesco off.......I am astonished with some of the comments I've read here this week. People bragging about how much they've had too!

Yeah that sounds harsh and I don't want to be but it is the truth!

I was going to do a biggish non DTD shop this week because I was feeling guilty for having around £140 from Mr T in the last week.

I'm not saying people shouldn't make the most of it, but come on people, you could ruin it for others and yourself!

I haven't taken part in this because I normally shop at Morrisons but I have been reading some of the updates. You are criticising others but surely you are just as guilty by admitting "having around £140 from Mr T in the last week" when the t&C stated £100 maximum each month?

Have I missed anything - and we wonder why so many mistakes have happened and why it seems some people have used it to fraud Tesco (using vouchers twice, fake vouchers, whatever)

You've missed people getting falsely called fraudsters/ thieves in public by Tesco staff.

    Bought yesterday, confirmed today

Olay anti wrinkle aqua physics night cream £10.20 £5.00

I commented earlier but it could have been missed.
The SA was telling me they are getting reduced tomorrow.
If they don't get reduced I can confirm it works across the whole Olay Aquaphysics range :)

my mum and son was in uckfield at 3.45 trying to use a 16.08 voucher, wouldnt work,so sa kept trying called over manager and they told my mum similar...apparently they have lots thousands last 4 days!!!!!!

They did tell my son to keep hold of his voucher anf receipt though till they sort this out....had already used my 85 from thurs...bit worried

You also say in a previous post you had vouchers for £95, £35 and £35. And in the above post you have a voucher for £85. Looks like maybe they were talking about you as an individual as you have easily gone over your £100 limit.

Hope you paid by cash and didn't use your clubcard.

OMG let's just stop to point out how much who has had... it won't change anything, let's just wait until tomorrow and see what is really going on with dtd... hopefully we can just carry on to find new good deals and be nice and happy again :)

Oh I agree. I've said a couple of times that I feel wrong for doing this. I actually get quite nervous going in store and doing it because I feel greedy. I too could be to blame but there are people who go beyond greed. I think there is a difference between me getting £140 out of Mr T and someone getting £700......AND I spend more than the voucher I've had so Tesco is getting something from me...I am not saying that makes it ok for me to get £140 but my point was about the extreme cases.
