Oh I agree. I've said a couple of times that I feel wrong for doing this. I actually get quite nervous going in store and doing it because I feel greedy. I too could be to blame but there are people who go beyond greed. I think there is a difference between me getting £140 out of Mr T and someone getting £700......AND I spend more than the voucher I've had so Tesco is getting something from me...I am not saying that makes it ok for me to get £140 but my point was about the extreme cases.

Well that's like saying, "I only killed him a little bit, officer." Lol!

theyve quoted approx 1 in 5000 customers have had higher than norm vouchers, they have around 2500 stores so approx 2 in every store using vouchers ( rough calculation ) lol if anyone has used the voucher more than once id think theyll be able to trace them and to be honest they prosecute shoplifters for less afterall !!

Your figures are wrong they are quoting 1 in 5000 customers, You then divide number of (millions) of customer transactions per week that happen. That gives you the number of vouchers that they are claiming are being redeemed and this figure was quoted for people claiming over £20 in vouchers, i quess there will be many more claiming vouchers less than £20

Your stating that they only get 10000 customer transactions per store and i expext they get far more (x10)

Same here, they didn't have them in my local store, but I called in one near to my nana's and there they were...

I could tell that DTDers had visited that same store as the nescafe gold blend 100g shelf was empty, but brimming with 50g and 200g jars!

I totally agree with you. I get terrified when using the vouchers. But i don't see the wrong in getting a little back, i've only claimed arounf £30 back in vouchers, i only just started but i wouldn't crazily go out of t&cs.
Part of me wants to go crazy with it, i worked with co-op last year and got a good paying job and i jsut got settled and tesco bought our store and i lost my job. Screw them :)

hope this doesn't wind you all up but how about sticking to discussing deals and other problems we're having with the promotion?

I have noticed alot of talk about how many vouchers people have or how to or how they have themselves gone over the 100 limit, occasionally boasting (sorry if thats strong) about their total spends etc

others are advising on how to change email addresses and the like

we KNOW tesco are following the thread, its open to the public so why rub their noses in it? if you ask me this was bound to happen:(

before you all have a go at me, nothing personal to any of you, just talking in general

sorry i did say 'higher than norm' vouchers apologies for my inaccurate calculations, as i said it was rough lol anyway point i was making was they input time voucher used and wouldnt be very diff to see who was using the voucher for 2nd or 3rd time at a specific time, thats my opinion anyway and again apologies for the inaccuracies am no mathematician :)
