I've also joined the 'letter received from velvet' club. Not a happy bunny at all. Not going to receive a penny of my wins then. I've just sent one claim off yesterday for the £100 win and posted it Recorded Delivery as well .. oh poo thats £1.23 I'm not going to see again.

I don't even like their stupid toilet rolls .... much prefer the Nicky ones and they are nearly half the price.

If there was a smilie with the bottom lip out, I would be using it right now!

I got letter from Velvet too!!!!! I've just spoken to customer services and she could not answer a single question that I had!!!! I didn't win a lot but it's the principle if they didn't want people to play more than once a day they should of made the software to stop this I think Velvet have handled all this wrongly and are making us all out to be criminals when they are the ones in the wrong getting us to buy overpriced toilet roll and don't run the competition properly!!!!!

Yes I agree, if we weren't elegible to win, we should have got a message "already entered" or "too many entries" or whatever the Itv comp website comes up with. I received a letter too for one of my £100 wins, to be honest I was expecting about 6/7 letters that is if they send one for each win. Will be interesting to see if I get any more.

I cant really be bothered to get stressed about this although I am a bit peeved about the postage money I have spent. Not too bothered about the cost of the rolls as I used loads of their poxy coupons. Loads of my entries were to get the coupons anyway, but on the bright side soon I will be able to open my wardrobe door without toilet rolls tumbling out on top of me.

As Ive still got a coupon of receipts and packaging, is there any point in entering just the once and putting a different postal address?

Doubt it judy...reckon they have got all IP addresses logged now, or how would they know how many times people have entered....think there is a post that said someone had a letter with their number of entries...that can't have been their wins , so must have been the number of times the IP address was logged

    Had another "velvet" thought.

velvet are to blame for making me a gambler, they have encouraged me,through their mis-management of the whole affair to keep playing their game. They know gambling is addictive, it was a bit like playing the slot machines, and they did not stop us.

Wonder if a claim for damages would work. lol

I'm still smarting from the velvet letter too.

I mean they just aren't Cushelle are they, never had a problem getting the Koala's I won and didn't even have to buy a pack of toilet rolls if I didn't want to. Thing is I did buy them... 'cos I felt guilting about how many koala's I did win..sent them to friends, family and their friends and family.

Think I'm more annoyed because its like CW says we've all been duped into entering the competition again and again before they have the decency to let us know we aren't getting our winnings.

Well done Velvet, I'll never buy another pack of your toilet rolls ever :T

I got the same letter off velvet.

However I think they are in the wrong,

Firstly velvet have only told us now they are not paying out. Why didn't they inform us immediately we entered more than once per day. Why leave it till the end of the promotion when everyone has stopped, or almost stopped, playing and there are no more promo packs available. Therefore I consider the delays a deliberate attempt to trick us, the velvet buyer, into buying their product and entering their competition.

Secondly, why didn't they have a specific captcha code on each pack, all codes different that can only be entered once.

They knew what would happen, and if they didn't they should have.

So in my opinion, velvet have tricked us into entering this comp and during the next few days I shall think of some lovely words to write to them.

I second that. Why have they changed it now so we can only play once per address? Should that not have been done from the start? Big company like that should have done some research first. Totally unfair. They suck big time! Totally fooled everyone into getting loads of their $hitty loo rool. No pun intended.

Just type in Velvets Campaign for tree and it should pop up....

Just got a cheque from Velvet,....son in law brought it round.. since they stopped muliple entries a couple of weeks ago , I have been entering once each day for me with my home address and once each day for hubby using daughters home address....she has never done it so will not spoil her chances....cheque is for £1.32 and there should hopefully be 2 more for £5 wins to come....reckon they will have stopped this IP address now , so not going to try it, don't want to waste a stamp....I reckon they will let you win and then take great pleasure in not paying out...
