Getting to feel quite sympathetic for the peeps who are employed to change the prices at Mr T's. What once must have been a relatively leisurely job now seems to have developed into a daily storewide repricing exercise. In the last week or so I've seen one line change price at least four times.

    Velvet again

Sorry to keep hijacking your thread but I know some of you continue to have issues with Velvet (as I do myself)

I am still wading through the CAP code before reporting this to the ASA. However, I've noticed that Velvet are using a stock response about the T&C's being signed off by the IPM prior to the launch of the promotion.

I think this is designed to make people think the ASA would not be interested but this is NOT the case. I know this for a fact because I was the complainant in an Andrex promotion (how ironic) a couple of years ago and, despite the fact that the T&C's in that promotion campaign had also been approved by the Institute of Sales Promotion (which is now the IPM), my complaint was still upheld.

The adjudication is in the link below if anyone is interested - sorry I know most of you aren't compers and a lot of you won't be interested so apologies again for intruding on your thread

thanks needahol,i dont think many people on this thread will mind you posting as most of us have played the velvet game ,and by our own admission most have played more than once a day.from the start this game was a mess ,if velvet had printed individual codes on each pack as alot of other promoters of competitions do and had their software installed to only allow each code to be submitted once these problems wouldn't have happened. they posted conflicting answers on their facebook page which is now apparently nothing to do with them, and even in the letters most of us received its not clear if we can or cannot play and claim any prizes we might win.It will be interesting to see how it all pans out and i'd like to know how much goes to charity from them.

    ps morning all

Can I use the £5 off Co-Op coupon on a Tesco delivery?

If so, would I just hand it to the driver?
Does anyone know the answer to this please..? my delivery is coming this morning.
