No Dtd'ing for me today either - not my turn to drive this week and don't always have time in evening. I may have tempted CS2 (car share person no.2:D) to take me one lunchtime this week and give her some more Dtd training :rotfl:, she's did 1 shop last month and got £70 odd pre-cap on Turner Road.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0

Word of advice here :-
Do not let the checkout staff keep your receipt - they have no right at all. Told OH that - There is a reason why we should keep the receipt :- maybe the stuff we bought is faulty, or food gone bad (like maybe smelly meat!) we need our receipt to exchange the stuff.
Last Friday - My OH used 1 of the £20 dtd to pay for the stuff he bought ( not dtd stuff - just general groceries) the cashier said " I got to keep your receipt" - OH did not know what to do so he said ok. Paid £1:D & went back to the carpark - called me - me said no!!! you go back in there and ask the customer service - and if they said that is not the case then demand back the old receipt - customer service said the cashier should not kept the receipt - they should just signed it (thats what I told OH) so my OH asked for the receipt back they had to go to the till and retrieve it back for him. Don't get bully by the cashier - they think they know everything which they don't we know more than they do.;)RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
Im spending so much time either planning a trip to Tesco, walking around Tesco, reading on here about Tesco, writing endless lists for shopping in Tesco - Im beginning to think Tesco is some sort of cult brainwashing us all. I can't get him out of my head, I feel compelled to rush off to gather more goodies, I can't get to sleep thinking about my lists, dream about it. Aahhh, Tesco has stolen my life.
and I NEVER EVER thought the day would come when I would have a cupboard full of fray bentos pies!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

I did a small dtd shop last week in a tesco that I only use every now and then. The sa wanted to keep my receipt and said he had to. I refused to let him and he called a supervisor over who said they have to keep the receipt. It took some arguing before I won, there was no way they were keeping my receipt. Problem is most of the staff don't know what there doing.
So, yes, stand your ground over this.
