Just been told same thing by some bloke...have deactivated my Facebook account now and am not using it again...very worrying for me as identity been stolen before...this bloke on the 0800 number said they did not know there was a FB site until today and using FB has it's risks and basically serves us right for using it,as it is in the public domain... he would not tell me the name of the company he runs just that they are a call centre handling calls from disgruntled peeps, he said people had not been paid out with non promotional packs...i told him they had and he said they must have just sent in just the barcode then, of course they did ,I said, he then said they were fraudsters and must have known they were cheating...I told him that someone on this number told me it did not matter and he said they didn't...so now I was a liar....I was def told it did not matter sending in all the pack when I asked after my first win just the barcode( couldn't get it all in 1 A4 envelope so phoned and asked if I could trim it)I said then that it might not look like promo pack and he said it did not matter...I always made sure I sent in the red arrow part, just to make sure...this bloke was soooo arrogant....he would not tell me who they are as their client has forbidden them to do so, yeah right!...if any of you are going via solicitors then you have lots of ammunition to use against them...they are totally unprofessional.I spoke to laura at velvet about half an hour ago and she said there are 2 velvet facebook pages 1 is official and 1 is fake, the official 1 is velvet's campaign for tree's..0 -
I've been trying to pluck up enough courage to phone Velvet but I'm too scared
I really don't know who to believe. The FB page or the call centre
:(:( Have they started to reply to emails yet? 0 -

Makes for quite worrying reading eh, when a company as big as M & S can be hacked into so easily.

Can I use the £5 off Co-Op coupon on a Tesco delivery?
If so, would I just hand it to the driver?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
I got the same email....agree , very worrying....have deleted my Facebook account as it would not surprise me at all if my computer was compromised by Velvet , I saw Blue had asked the same question about them blocking her computer...can't check for any responses now on Facebook as never going on there again.....not entering Velvet comp again, waste of time and effort, after speaking to this bloke this afternoon and being told about the 1 pack one entry this morning it's pointless...he intimated that people that had abused the comp would not win again.....he was soooo smug...Thrifty_Sister wrote: »OMG - the velvet online security is pathetice but I am posting an email I have received from M & S.
