We to enjoyed ours yesterday and all I did was wrap looosely in foil cook for half hour and then open parcel to allow meat to brown. Delish:D

Spoken to Vevet and they say the Facebook page is absolutely nothing at all to so with them....she also said no wins will be paid out even when playing only once up until 5th April if peeps played multiple times before then...so I asked how come peeps on here( did not disclose where ' here ' was ) had been paid out ...she said she had no idea and in fact I hung up on her as it was a complete waste of time, she hummed and aaaghed and hestitated and asked me for Facebook link and acted like she had never seen it before....saying Oh dear..what does this mean , look what this person said etc......but reiterating the posts on Facebook that looked official were not official at all and all the info was false...reckon this is their scapegoat....deny they said any of the things they did say....I asked why they had not been in touch with Facebook owners and she said they had and there was nothing they could do as anyone can set themselves up as anything.....what a load of codswallop.....I then asked about only 1 entry per pack....you're gonna love this.....if you entered on a Monday and did not claim, then entered on Tues and did not claim...and then entered on Wednesday and won...they won't pay as they know it was the same pack....not true I said...I have 4 packs bought at the same time all on different receipts how do you know the 3rd entry was not for one of those packs....oh well we won't pay and you will have to send in proof that you did in fact buy 4 packs even though they are on different receipts and send them in as evidence........and then management will decice whether or not the claim is valid...and whether or not to pay out......

Wow! Thanks for that Bully. I was thinking of calling them but obviously a waste of time...

as for the FB page, weren't they asking for lots of personal info etc, when people were querying things? If they are not affiliated to Velvet, who are they and what are they doing with the info they received from people?!

Can't believe a big company like them are being complete (insert numerous swear words here). It's absolutely appalling. They can't change their terms and conditions every other day. It's just not on is it.

I really feel for all my fellows on this thread who won big amounts. I'm still funked off about my 2 x £10 wins to be honest. I don't know how funked off you guys will be feeling.

I feel a coach trip coming on. How about it we all go and stage a mass protest? LOL. We could do a Channel 4 Coach Trip episode? WHEN VELVET MESSED WITH THE COUPON FAMILY starring Brendan Sheridan and the Coupon Family. LOL.

just emailed velvet via their "contact us" email addie, quoted a bit of your conversation bully. and added my bit,

as the bar codes for 4pks are all the same and the 9pks have there own same code, if the aforesaid is true, why are we wasting our time and money on your product to enter your competion, or is it that your staff need more training, I would also like to know once and for all, is the facebook link anything to do with your company and the ongoing competion or the company dealing with the competion. please make all this clear and maybe we will all then move on and you will have less hassle.

afternoon everyone. Velvet, I think, are acting very unprofessionally and I for one have lost a lot of respect for them; so much so, my last 9 roll pack has just been opened and I won't be buying them again. Ive only got 2 x £5 wins outstanding but I guess I won't be receiving my winnings. Unless they have crystal balls (why don't you see gypsy's dancing? Because they have... ) I can't see how they can possibly know, as the promo packaging is all the same, if a pack has been used for an online entry or not. Maybe the powers that be have cottoned on to the fact that this promo is in fact costing them dear like Walkers Rainy Day (and apparently Hoover some years ago, who offered airline tickets with purchases) and are now trying to wriggle out of coughing up. Personally I feel inviegled into buying their loo roll and no one bears a grudge more than me! A velvet free household by the end of the week and so we shall stay!

I noticed this morning that crafty Asda have put up the prices of the huggies starter kits in my branch anyway - £5.50 now! Still worth 50p and profit to be made on boot sales - but crafty so & so's! I will try and offer up a £2 coupon as well next time mixed in with other things and hope to get the better of them that way. Won't take this lying down! I love my huggies starter kits - great boot sale sellers!

Have spent 2 hours this morning shopping (flitting between Tesco/Asda) - I don't know my way well enough around Tesco so it takes ages - but I learn fast. Real cash spent today £7.28, dtd vouchers/mocs used £42.91.

Haven't yet checked out the Tesco dtd thread this morning but have noticed the new VO5 shampoos are £3.50 in Tesco and £2 in Asda but I don't think it shows on My supermarket yet, perhaps cos its new.

Oh, and whizzing around this morning but forgot to go back and investigate - on some boxes of eggs there is a 40p off lurpak coupon, peelable I think. Might be worth a second look. I plan to later.

Surely Asda cannot expect you to pay the .50p for the Huggies starter kit. The coupon actually says you get a free box no mention of paying at all. I printed off two this am and will get them later in the week, they better not charge me anything.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
