Forget the velvet comp it aint worth it! We gotta count our blessings in this world
Muse's OH is home, PC has given birth (finally) and Mad got Cornetto's for tea tonight
i wonder who gets the rest from Velvet- are they going to honour themselves (for example 'for hard work')?
i have spent nearly £200 for toilet rolls and postage, and got back only 1/4 of it...0 -
Bless your soul darl.
Still think it's a farce that Velvet didn't block multiple entries when the promotion first came out. To not give out winnings is just shameless. Shame on them!
I can remember claming for a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE with Wilkinson Sword. They accidentally sent out a cheque for £66.00 instead of £6.60 to a lot of people, but they honoured it and said it was their fault for the mistake. Their terms and conditions clearly stated they would only refund up to a maximum of £7.00. I know Velvet is not exactly the same, but if their promotions are not checked before they go live, don't go bloody ripping us off.0 -

So did everyone have a good DTD day today? Back to the gym tomorrow morning to try and work off those pizzas, magnums, wedges, fruit shoots and all the rest courtesy of Mr T. Is anyone else putting on a lot of weight? Oooops.0

I had a good DTD - i got £83.03 worth of goods, after vouchers etc used £39.35 cash and will get £60 back in DTD vouchers (did 3 shops). I also used a co-op voucher with DTD voucher and as she was arguing about whether to take it i advised her that if she didn't i would end up with another tesco giftcard with £10 on like the one i was about to give her!!! Hee hee! Very sleepy think the suns worn me out - early night me thinks - hope to hear some good news re poss new home tomorrow.
Forgot to say - my 3 cheques i got yesterday - 2 were with recorded delivery and one wasn't - not sure how they worked that out but past caring now.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0
