Hi has anyone re entered their details but on a different email address for a voucher that has appeared to have got lost in the system ?

Yes, or enter the same details to check. You can make up an email address - it doesn't matter. You don't have to use real ones at all, even the first time you put it in. It can be 123@abc.com

Re Velvet/Facebook..The thing that worries me is the security aspect of it , why would anyone purport to be a major company? To get our email details.... I think they are denying it's them so they can wriggle out of paying up , cos they gave out duff inmfo on Facebook...can you all send a message to Facebook telling them that someone is purporting to be a major company on Facebook...I've had a reply from FB saying they have read my email but cannot reply to individuals but will look into it...if they get more than one person telling them that the Velvet FB site is bogus they might take more notice....I did it via 'security concerns ' on their help/contact page

Yes, and there was that response from them about 5 free entries when the website was playing up and sending our details in to a postal address to be entered into the draw...

I didn't keep the email tho as didn't bother entering.

Oh err. Did my first DTD in almost a week and got a right male trout SA. Said I can't use a voucher without a clubcard. So I just pouted my lips at him! He called a supervisor over, and I pouted my lips again before he could open his mouth and he let me use it. What a waste of 5 minutes! Totally uncool.

Hope you lot all had a better day than me DTD'ing.

Saw this in The Telegraph today:

"Rate rise unlikely after inflation fell unexpectedly to 4pc as a fall in the cost of food outweighed higher housing and energy costs"

Could this be down to the DTD effect?!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Isnt the email address velvettissue@gmail.com somewhat suspect? Shurely a (Dis) Organisation of this size wouldnt have a Gmail address?

    Duchess got mail!!!:D

    Velvet's Campaign for Trees
Hi Duchess, we can confirm that this email is a valid address for all correspondence concerning the Money Tree game. We've set this up specifically to deal with all the concerns over the promotion to make sure that they can be dealt with as efficiently as possible.

Evening all just back from my few days down torquay way weather so nice wanted to book another night lol.

At the very start of velvet comp I posted 3 wins with promo packs and receipt all paid out then I read on one of the threads can't remember abt people being paid without sending packing so I sent my next three wins without packing and yes they were paid out I have records of the date the wins were & for amounts don't know if that is useful to anyone. The person I spoke to from telephone no on letter sent made it quite clear we wld not be able to participate any further in comp & no wins wld be honoured. I am just going to wait and see how things pan out.

Any way too busy with DTD at moment although my last shop at our local was abit off putting went in and felt the security guard definatley clocked me made eye contact went on his radio then crossed over to the station thing he was standing facing straight on loking as you walked in looked back again little latter and was watching me up the aisle DH was in the car answering a phone call was only going to do a quick dtd shop so mean't him to stay in the car as wasn't going to be long thought abt ringing him to let him know anyway he had come and met me in the shop told him he had also felt the security guard paid him alot of attention when he walked in so decided wasn't going to use a voucher to pay just do a cash shop with a few dtd items + some other shop. This completly threw me so now not sure whether to just use vouchers I have somewhere else because of being away haven't entered receipt from panick shop yet

Because we paid for it!:D nah... actually depend on what you bought,

    1) sometime the things that we bought might be faulty or gone bad and if they keep your receipt who's to know that they will refund/replace you the stuff - they could have argue that you bought it from somewhere else, blah blah then calling the Manager down then they look at your dtd receipt . imagine the hassle you have to go thru:eek:

    2) Don't like them to be nosy what I am buying - as long as they sign the receipt thats good enough. DO NOT LET THEM HAVE YOUR RECEIPT its not on their dtd T&C

    Hi doc,

Took my dtd coupon in today and was given receipt back. Checkout op said they just had to put a line through details at the bottom (store no. time etc) and sign at the top, then give it back to me. No fuss, no probs, sorted :D

Very civilised shop. Didn't go looking for dtd (still confuses me) but did go for one or two offers eg Timotei (sp?) shampoo/conditioners. £1.99 buy 1 get 2 free and stocked up on some reduced veg. :)

    Word of advice here :-

Do not let the checkout staff keep your receipt - they have no right at all. Told OH that - There is a reason why we should keep the receipt :- maybe the stuff we bought is faulty, or food gone bad (like maybe smelly meat!) we need our receipt to exchange the stuff.
    .;)

I am must be lucky Mr T don't look at my dtd receipts let alone sign them.

Just to let you know winter seasoned Mccains Wedges and copella juice are not a comparable iteim according to Mr T's price checker, so no dtd eventhough they are both sold in Mr A at cheaper prices. :(
