Always very MSE when someone else is paying!! Enjoy!! I fancy a little bit of retail therapy myself at some point over the weekend.....hmm.....will have to see if I can tweak the budgets a bit!

Tomorrow is watching football in the pub - I am sending DS with some of his mates on the supporters coach to Swansea, but it was too long a day for me, so the pub it is! Other than that, a shortish run in the morning, and start to recharge my batteries for the week ahead, and of course the marathon next weekend :eek:

i had some retail therapy today. they were doing banana boxes of clothes for $5 at my charity shop today :D I got about 20 items of clothing for this price. Ace. I might have to go back tomorrow and get some more - so i can list them on the local auction site...

Morning all - it is a beautiful weekend already - the sun is shining and it makes such a difference!

So, last night - just a couple of drinks after work. After such an incredibly intense week, we didn't manage to leave the office on time, and tbh, to then spend more than another hour or so together, even in a more relaxed social situation was still intense enough. So, a nice hour sat outside a bar with a bottle of white, and then off. A friend had bought a "new to him" car yesterday and wanted to show it, so he came and picked me up, and then we sat and had a cuppa whilst putting the world to rights, so that was probably what I needed lol, but from 9ish, it was a quiet evening.

Today, I am heading out for a run in half an hour or so, then this afternoon will be going to the pub to watch the football. I need to stay awake until silly o'clock to collect DS from the away match which is a bit of a bore, but all part of the job!

So, for the bits in between, I will sample the delights of my new patio in the sunshine I reckon.

Lovely day so far - had a really nice run (just 4+ miles to keep the legs working) around the lanes before it got too warm. Then a friend came round for coffee on my very sunny balcony, which was a lovely surprise. Just had a bacon sarnie with DD for lunch and we need to head out to the ski shop to pick up some bits we ordered shortly.

But first, toenails need to be painted - and the balcony beckons again.

Not been on for a while and thought I'd pop in and check out what you're up to. All looking very good. Fabby new diary, fabby life and all so deserved. Thought of you the other day when we booked another ski lesson for our children. They were bought a lesson for Christmas and LOVE it - all I can think of is nooooooooooooooo! Saying that, they're happy to go every few months so as long as we keep it that way i'm happy.:rotfl:
